Also, if you track the car (on a circuit, not the 1/4 mile), the car has to have a certain margin, otherwise it will not be reliable as it's always operating at or beyond its limit. I want to drive my car for a few more years, so just hoping the internals will be fine...not really good enough for me, personally. I also hope you don't sell your car - after all the work that has gone into it! Alpina_B3_Lux

Mr. 5, since you are at it, can you try to see if a JB+ at +1psi with 93 octane fuel and added meth runs without timing drops ? Do you consider this too dangerous ? Or maybe try to see what extra psi (maybe 0.25-0.75) is the max that can be run with 93+meth and no timing drops ? This would be of help for alot of people here. I am scratching to add a JB+ at drag racing events but race gas is like 5 times more than pump gas here and pretty hard to find too, not worth the hassle.
One other interesting test would be to add some JB+ psi to Stage 2 (non-race) which has more conservative timing advance but the same boost as Stage 2 Race. Maybe with this setup the power levels of Stage 2 Race can be surpassed with 93+meth safely ? Last edited by tscdennab; 05-25-2011 at 07:14 AM.. |

You should get one and do it. Just make sure you tell Terry that this JB+ is for a flashed car because the JB+ for a flashed car is different than the regular one.

1 psi won't make any difference anyway.

Hey Craig, any long term updates? Interested in doing this as my car is becoming more of a weekend/track car, lol.
