My production date of week 21 has been the same for awhile now. I would think if there was a delay then it would be pushed back a few weeks.
But as of today, im still week 21 production. Common sense tells me the production hasnt stopped since others have had their cars produced this week as well.

Well, something's up. The deal I struck on a 335 E93 two weeks ago for September ED is off. My CA says that "BMW" (presumably the ED folks in New Jersey) told him today that there are no more slots for E92s or E93s until mid-November. So you lucky ba**ards who have confirmed production or ED dates should thank your lucky stars.

Wonder if people are just getting confused from the extra 2000 allocations that BMW gave out by mistake.
Thats why many orders are being given new production numbers since the old ones were wrong. Which in return will give a slightly longer wait time than before.

What I feel happened here is this... The production numbers were issued. I never denied this. ![]() Shortly afterwards, BMW took a hard(and smart) look at the profitability of selling cars in the US Vs. Selling cars in other parts of the world, and simply decided to pull back US allocations and focus production capacity in other, more profitable areas. It makes smart business sense. It's a rare a occurrence when the dollar is so weak and the Euro is so strong. They are trying to capitalize while the anomaly lasts and it's hard to blame them. What truly sucks though...are the people here that will wait longer for their cars. ![]() |

That makes sense but where did you get that information from? Even the members here who are from canada and europe are having longer than normal wait times as well.

I just go another update from my family member at BMW NA. The 2,000 allocations that were cancelled included various models not just the 3. It's a big mess and many customers have not even been given new production numbers because there are none available. My family member saw my name on the list but it was too late, my production # was already cancelled. Darn!
