Hey Lewis...
I received the Bumper yesterday safe and sound. It's already at the paint shop. Thanks again for all of your help... gotta love a vendor that takes the initiative to call and give you updates instead of me having to call. ![]() I'll post some pics when everything's done. -John |

UPDATE
As of September 14th, 2007 For all E92s with the oil cooler as standard or retrofitted please specify upon ordering this M-Technik kit as some part part numbers will have to be revised accordingly. Thanks. |

Lewis, explain in more detail what the "under engine shield" is and what it does please. As you know, I purchased my kit without the oil cooler option, because I was unaware and you did not tell me there was such an option and, thus, I had to cut portions of the oil cooler to accommodate the front bumper. Also, because the fog light housings are blocked, I purchased totally unusable new brake ducts from you. Those parts I can live with because my oil temps and brake response thus far have not been affected. But, if there is some "under engine shield" that also was supposed to have come with my bumper that you did not tell me about, then my disposition is going to change a little depending on various things. Many tx.

No, the ducting that takes the air, circulates it around the oil tubing, then sends it out that front right wheel well, where the air is released. The shop had to cut the ducting that releases the air into that wheel well, but thus far it has not made a difference in oil temps that is noticeable. However, I have not logged coolant or overall engine temps. But, I have not experienced any limp modes or other problems associated with high heat. I'm tracking the car in the upcoming weeks and will see if there are any heat issues, but I really doubt it because the amount of air circulating in connection with the oil cooler is not really significant. That's one reason, I assume, the Bathurst 335i race cars employed a larger oil cooler.

I'm looking to purchase just the side skirts. Anyone looking to purchase just the front and rear, let me know so we can work something out.
