very nice upgrades!

Kinda last moment but I finished prepping this past weekend. New radiator (thanks AK!). Brake fluid & oil done. I think I'll start the season with the Hawk DTC70s but take the PFC01s with me. I also changed from StarSpecs to NT01s this year so there'll be a learning curve for the first few sessions.

Just 2 weeks away, can't wait to get back on track!

Nice, I'm slapping on my 06's this weekend. Aside from that car is good to go. Fluid is still fresh from the end of last season. Will flush later when I really start doing a lot of events. Where you guys staying btw?

Same... best place from what I hear and their rates are reasonable. Most likely going down Friday afternoon, take half day from work. Maybe I'll hit up the casino, ha =P

Sorry to be cheap, but does anyone have a code reader that I could bum off at the track, should limp modes kick in?

Can't you disconnect battery? With temps being so low, I honestly doubt it'll be an issue.

Do folks typically get close to the speed limiter on a stock e9x at NJMP, or any track for that matter?

About 145mph towards end of front straight of Lighting. so close to the speed limiter on a FBO n55.

Very easy to hit the limiter in Monticello and Pocono IMSA (banked NASCAR course), close to the limiter in Thunderbolt, Lightning, Summit Point. Far from limiter in Limerock.

BTW, to clarify, you get that info by looking at your videos or data acquisition info later on, eyes looking far ahead on the course always while on track

Last time I ran Thunderbolt I hit about 130-135 on the big straight, 105-110 on the second straight. Stock N55 with a downpipe.

+1 definitely, I only knew how fast I went because my instructor told me.

Edit - I'm getting excited, we're about a week and a half away. Got my track inspection done at VAC and picked up some oil and coolant.

This is going to be a big event. I'm seeing 41 BMWs, 98 Porsches and barely a handful of other makes.

There are 11 people in yellow including me; 17 in green (not counting waitlisted). I'm wondering if they will run both groups at the same time like they did at the last PCA event. Probably.

Actually I hope not, NJMP is relatively short. I had to come out a few times just because it was getting so crowded.

And all you guys saying you hit 130+ on the straights... FUUUUU lol
