I did the firmware update and Ap manager update, and now in the AP Manager nothing is listed in ECU data. I always remember seeing a ROM in there. Did I just lost my stock ECU tune?

We added timing, boost, and hold power out longer in the RPM range.

Flashed to the V400 Aggressive Stage 2+ map this morning. I didn't notice any hiccups under acceleration from low RPM's like I was getting before. I haven't hit the streets hard yet but I should have some clear roads to work with tonight. I will report back if I find anything note worthy.

the new maps are definitely smoother. i noticed the part throttle performance has slightly increased, as well. more power at moderate throttle input. full throttle feels about the same power-wise

Had a 10 mile commute this morning and it was extremley smooth. It would accelerate to 80mph without me even knowing... no hiccups. Also, I used to get these hiccups when I would roll to 5-10mph at redlights and kind of jerk when I tried to accelerate again, but today it was a smooth transition from rolling to going and didn't experience the jerks.

It also seems more responsive, was just touching the pedal 5% and it would go immeadiately with more power and no lag.

I have an AT and the downshifts in DS seemed smoother and it didn't jerk if I throttled at low rpms.

I did get to rev to 6k rpms at the end of my commute and there was kind of a extra boost it felt like, but it was like a 100 yard straight away so can't say much.

that's weird.. AP manager says I'm on 1.6.5.0-3441 but is trying to update me to 1.6.5.0.3122... that seems backwards? Maybe I should install the maps without firmware update?

same AT here. stage 1 aggressive. just drove about 30 mins on and off the highway and the throttle response is whole lot better and smooth. i absolutely love it. im not sure about having more power but definitely has better response.

question to cobb - im pretty sure this has been asked but anyways..

are you guys planning on making any parts (IC,DP, EXHAUST ETC)??

im pretty sure whole lot of us will buy cobb parts knowing the maps are tuned exactly to the parts you make to optimize power and efficiency

Update your AP firmware first, then you should be good to go.

had a little drive last night, plugged in the AP as a boost reader (didn't have chance to log yet, but will do tonight), S1 v300 my average boost was 12.7 at Sport 91 map and tapper down to high 10-11psi towards redline, with the S1+ map, average boost i see is around 15 or above now, 6000rpm after tapper down to 12.
the extra power and torque feel nice!

Yeah you sure did. Went from v301 stage 1 aggressive stock throttle (with ETS 5") to v400 stage 1+ aggressive stock throttle. Clearly a wider power band, more TQ, and much smoother on tip-in, up the rpm range, and while shifting. Previously it seemed to peter out a bit as RPMs rose, and then was a little binary (on/off) on transitions. Great job.

This was just a few hard runs after warming up, weather is not optimal (snow/ice on mostly cleared roads). But no codes, also running IJEOS dme. Xi + AT.

Just went for a second day test on Stage 1+ and lovin' it. Smooth and tame when I want it to be and an anger streak when I push it. Awesome daily driver.

It feels like the throttle mapping is a little different from 3.01 std... but still nice.

I don't know if you noticed that it was trying to upgrade me to a lower number firmware. And crashing as it was trying to do it.
I ended up removing the check mark for "beta firmware" and it finally "updated" my firmware correctly.

Thanks!

We did "revise" Stage one as well. So what you felt was a combination of drive-ability fixes and revised tuning.

Thanks!

I'm running IJEOS 2008 AT 335xi. The v400 aggressive 93 stock throttle is much smoother than v301 93 /stock throttle and it revs quickly and smoothly to 6000 with very little perceptible hiccup between 3000 and 4000 rpm. Very nice! I can't wait until I install my HELIX intercooler to move up to Stage 1+!!!!!
