When I am logging CAN DBW THROTTLE, I only see 78% at WOT. Will performing the throttle recal fix this? Does that mean it is only open 78% or is it really 100% but only reading 78%? And if it is 100% open, is the map only performing as if it is open 78%? Trying to nail down the logic.

I am also trying to determine throttle logic in general as I get a lot of fluxuation durring WOT runs. Is there a write-up on this?

Sorry for all the questions. I know I can be pretty demanding.

Thanks

Throttle is actually open 100% when it says 78%. All you need to do is set the converted max value (in datalog setup) to 128. Which we did in the latest datalog setup files we included with the new maps. Previously, it was set to 100 which caused a datalogging miscalibration.

Shiv,
for the AT transmissions it's possible to remove via software (procede) the kickdown functionality ?
(for example on/off functionality via command center)

tnx in advance

I don't think that is going to be possible to do through through the software or Procede. I'm thinking a hardware solution would be your best bet. On the 6at we took the dragstrip earlier this week, we zip tied a socket to the back of the accelerator pedal

Shiv,
I have a completely stock car except for your rev 2.5. I'm currently running the 4-23 maps, but have also tried the 7-29 autotuning maps.
I'm totally new to this, but are they both equally safe for a stock car? Is there one that you would recommend over the other in terms of reliability for my car? I run 93 octane and live in a warmer climate if that makes a difference.
Thanks

One question, I found that the older map which is 3-17 more powerful and fuel-efficiency than 4-23, can I do calibration on this map to solve the error?

In my log if i put can DBW Throttle the max value show in the log are 78%(WOT)
If i put "throttle" the max value is 100% on WOT

same here..things were going great until about two weeks ago. i'm not one to bring issues to a public forum but for the sake of helping us all i will say, my car is misfiring and clearly not receiving the proper fueling. i am running stage 2 map 1 with the necessary supporting modifications for reference.
Ghost-
i have not touched the OL/**parameter since uploading the firmware and april maps, that could be the culprit right there, but i'm not 100% comfortable tinkering with much as i'm not completely adept to the user interface yet. as for the rest of your inquiry from the prev post-- i will post up some logs and settings tomorrow for you guys when i upload the may maps, reset adaptations, set TPS, etc...if i can't figure it out i may even try reverting back to the autotune maps as my car really did love them LOL. i am currently trying to diagnose out some crazy issues my motor is having at the moment. i've confirmed it is not injectors, plugs, or anything hardware related as everything was overhauled less than 3k ago. so it's clear to me some parameters have to be reconfigured through the interface, something is not right but i am sure i can get it narrowed down to the right tuning. every car is different stay tuned..maybe someone will chime and be able to help us all while i am doing so..LOGS are our best friends at the end of the day. what do you guys want to see a few 3rd gear pulls (banks 1,2 AFR etc.) or..? some detail into what exactly i should log for tomorrow will be appreciated. thanks

The plunger on the back of the peddle is a ball on socket. If you pull on the peddle it will disconnect from the plunger and you can slip some rubber washers or o-rings over the rod to stop the peddle from going past the kick down. Use a pare of vise grips with black tape rapped on them to prevent damage to the rod and push the peddle back on to the ball until it snaps back into place. Then follow Shiv's directions on how to set the throttle to 100% open and you should be good to go. I know this has saved me a lot of downshifts, especially when you are exiting a corner and the last thing you want is for the car to down shift. without this, it never fails, you will always downshift and over rev the engine when you don't want to.

5-23 is the same 4-23 as unless you have stage 3 MT.

then you want the 5-23 (which is what shows on the website) instead of 4-23.

still...ehh..not running too well but found quality of gasoline is helping. here's something funny but true, shell gasoline makes my motor happier than other brand, i swear. i may just go back to autotune maps. im stage 2+ so..i either need to find the correct settings through the interface or let the autotune maps do their magic.

Here is my log with following mods:

Procede Rev3 V5 05-23 FBO upgraded turbos 6MT
PWM Meth kit
RB turbos
VRSF catless downpipes
Spearco Code3 FMIC
Mr.5 Intake
Forge DV

Unfortunately, I get misfire codes (code 29D2) at high revs so I'll switch back to Stg3. Don't know why I get misfire codes. Changed my plugs a year ago (10,000 miles so far).

Now my question is: With Stg3 I only reach approx. 16.5 psi. My settings for map 2 are:

Start Boost: 65
Start Ign Corr: 0

But I want to have a boost pressure of at least 18-19psi. Which start boost I have to choose?

Thanks.

you might want to log boost control set point and wasgate duty cycle to make sure you don't have boost leak

if you want 18-19 you set start boost to 80 for 18psi or 90 for 19psi, make sure you adjust the boost limit higher too so you don't trip overboost
