Did you race meto (e55amg) last week or so? I've heard he beat you? was actually suprised when they told me the mods you have and that he beat you. Was everythign running good with you?

I have a good idea who that E55 is. Ugh. Should have run him while I still had stock turbos.

360awhp is possible, but it's at the peak of what you can do without meth or Terry targeting more boost for map 5 on an E85 mix.

I saw a 10-10.5mph gain in traps changing from map 0 to map 7 on race fuel (114.7mph) and on map 5 (114.2mph) with e85 in similar conditions and 200lb more weight on the map 5 run. Since my stock dyno run was 260awhp I'd say that's very close to a 100awhp gain.

Stock FMIC soaks quick though, so these are glory runs unless it's cold out.

Lol most likely you do. He a race freak, I've told him about you, but he said that you should have him but still might be close come 135+ lol His car is freakishly fast though and he's stock.

He's not completely stock. But his bolt on mod shouldn't do much.

That's true, i forgot what it is called, but like you said it should not do much interms of whp gain anyway.

Set it up one night, and get those c63's to come out and play i beleive they all know each other anyway lol

haven't raced him since I got meth,on map 2 he's faster,we tried map7 with ms109 and we were dead even to about 130 the he had like 2 feet on me n he would brake lol,we did rolls from like 40 cuz he didn't wanna do lower cuz he power band is higher speed.
were gonna race again with meth now one of these nights.fyi last time i raced him was about 4 months ago
e55 r not quick off the line theyr tall geared so they take a bit to get to the power band compared to our n54 so best bet is to do standing runs especially ur xi

Ah i see, yeah my XI is quick of the line, but noone wants to race like that...I'm in a process of trading my car in and will probably get a 2009 335i RWD and transfor most of my mods and of course add some more...I've been scared to mod my car more then already is afraid of the damn transfer case. But i should be in the game soon enough. Try either race gas or mix of e85 with meth, i think you should have him..

Aha exactly it's slow and i'd rather worry about Transmission alone then Transmission and Transfer case with my XI lol So if i can get a fully loaded RWD similar to my miles but an 2009 i'm going for it. And also i'm planning to keep it after for years to come so who knows whats down the line.. ie; bigger turbos, trans rebuild etc.. well see and hopefully all works out.

kbb says like 24k or so...crazy how much it depriciated. I got 43k mi on mine gonna look for something in the similar mi range but a '09 in a 30k or under im in no rush so ill keep searching and hopefully i strike lucky lol

I don't think he's buying certified though, and even then they are cheaper now. I seen some CPO E90 335i for 32k ASKING, which means you could probably talk them down to 27-28k.

And please check GALVES price guide for trade-in values, NOT kbb. It's worth the $5.00 to access GALVES to appropriately gauge what your car is worth. When you make a huge stink over the trade-in value of your car, you MAY get 1-2k over the Galves value depending on how desperate the dealer is.

I'm amazed at how well my car is depreciating though. only losing 6k in asking price from the day I bought my car is pretty good. They asked 38k for E90 N54 LCI back in 11/2010, and now they're asking 32k with higher miles.

I found this thread interesting because I see a white c63 amg going to work periodically. The guy driving it is young, so I figured we'd line up some day. How would I do with: JB4, 30/70 e85 blend, dci, vrsf dps, Helix dv valves?

The E55 has secondary cat delete, no resonator, mesterschaft mufflers, and K&N drop in filter. Also has a upgraded IC pump as the stock ones fail more often then N54 fuel pumps, as his IC pump did fail, and they have horrible performance.
But IC pump is suppose to be good for no gains possibly, just keep things cool within the stock IC as its a liquid cooled unit.
