After 5 years of owning a MB '03 E320 I traded in for '05 Honda Accord (this car seem to be oil hungry). I will never own a MB again (unless its the GL model). It was a piece of junk... Every few months something would be wrong with it. Although I never had a mechanical problem. It barely had over 100K miles...

Same here. '99 Honda prelude SH, h22a w/ a Jackson Racing supercharger and lots of other goodies . Beat it to death and still ran like a champ til the day I sold it. With 160k+ miles.

My 55 year old mother drives a 2008 civic Si too. All blacked out too

Mine was '03 too. The w211s were/are notoriously unreliable until about 2006. I clocked about 85K on the odometer and a laundry list of problems: motor mounts, control arms, bad cats, gas tank, window regulator "machine gunning", etc I could go on but that's off topic.

I've owned a Honda accord and an Acura CL.

Still think it is funny when a Honda tries to race me now. I know what they can do most of the time. Most do not realize the 335 is a twin turbo, they think it is just a normal 3 series cause it is not an M.

A rather meaningless statement.

Firstly, "Honda" is a brand, not a car. Referring to what it "can do" makes no sense whatsoever. Secondly, theoretical racin performance of a car depends on its power-to-weight ratio, not on whether it "has twin turbo" or not. Thirdly, practically there are too many real-life factors that determine the outcome.

An average S2000 driver will beat a typical "Look ma, I have Twin Turbo!" 335i driver 9 times out of 10.

First, being a former Honda owner I know the potential of these cars. I was merely in reference to the "ricers" on the street that pull up next to me and think because they have a double deck-er spoiler and a glass pack that they are going to beat anything that pulls up next to them. Not aware of the potential of the 335 with a tune and some bolt ons. No disrespect to those of us who know cars and their abilities!
