I guess I won... :rocks:
They called me yesterday and delivered the good news. I get to keep the car without signing a new contract. The current stays valid. I told them I wasn't happy about the whole thing, not expecting anything from them. But they offered to give me free lifestyle accessories. Time to think about mods... |

BMWFS doesn't have an option on a personal lease for somebody to be a guarantor, only a co signer. Did your original contract have both of you on it? If they set it up with your father as the PG (which they are not supposed to do) more than likely BMW FS rejected the contract for funding.

My dad signed on the box that said Guaranty so he could be a guarantor. BMWFS wanted him to sign on the box that said Lessee so he could be a co-lessee. All is good now... I've moved on... |

What I meant is..........the PG section is on all lease contracts, but is only APPLICABLE to business leases with a PG, BMWFS doesn't accept contracts with somebody as PG. Basically the only difference is that a co lessee has rights to the vehicle, where a PG doesn't have any rights, they are just financially responsible if the company defaults. |
