Nope, should only be about $25-30 difference.

Any word about the 5 inch version? What will the benefits be of the 7 vs 5. Any reason to go with one over the other? PM me or posting here is fine.

Thanks

7" will provide better cooling if you're running higher than stock boost levels in the mid to upper rpm range when the turbos are out of their efficiency range and it will potentially heat soak less in really warm/humid climates.

The only downside is there's a bit more pressure drop but from my 5" to 7" comparisons, it has been too small of an amount to matter. The pro's of better cooling outweigh the cons of a bit more pressure drop any day.

When do you expect the 2.75" connectors to be available again?

We've sold close to 500 sets, that's the only one I've ever had back due to the buyer being dissatisfied with how the product "looked". To be honest, I can't blame him, that set definitely slipped through the cracks and normally would never have been sent out if we had caught it. This is what they actually look like:

Either way, the product includes a lifetime guarantee and we'd be more than happy to cover shipping expenses to and from your location if you're dissatisfied.

Also just to note, from a performance standpoint, there wouldn't have been a difference between that pipe and the one pictured below. I've been in the business a long time and a majority of the larger brands that have been around for a 30-40 years do NOT produce the dime styled welds you're used to seeing on these forums. The appearance of the weld does not, in any way determine it's performance. Generally the prettier the weld, the less penetration and the less effective it is.

These are scheduled to arrive back in stock in 4-5 weeks. Both the 5" & 7" versions will be in stock in 2.75" connector form!

I'll post some pics up of the revised 2.75" ID end tanks later today!

Anyone who is purchasing a set of DP's or has purchased a set of downpipes in the past and is interested in the FMIC, they are eligible for an automatic discount of $30 which is processed when you add both items to the cart.

For those who have already purchased DP or FMIC and are interested in purchasing a FMIC or DP, just follow through with the purchase on the website and note that you've previously purchased one or the other and reference your order number. We will then provide you with the reimbursement

As for pre-order deals, I've just knocked an additional $20 off both intercoolers to kick off our pre-order sale. Once these arrive back in stock, they will go back up in price.

Here's a shot of the 7" with the new end tanks and new finish.
