a while back an acquaintance had real bbs lms on his s2000 and i had a set of varrstoen lm reps on my e46 m3, it was soooo priceless to see his face when his wheel started loosing air after going thru a pothole i had gone thru several times(with him in the car and all) and get a decent size crack on it i sold the car a year later with the same wheels on it no issues and saw the car at a meet about 6 months ago(like 3 yrs later) WITH THE SAME WHEELS!

at the end of the day there are some shitty reps out there, and then there's some good quality ones like varrstoen that go for fraction of the cost and last just as long if not longer. But nothing beats the look in the face of a person when they realize that spending 3k more on a set of wheels that looked the same cracked under less stress then a rep they talked so much shit about

Yeah, you're right. Varrstoens > BBS. STFU.

Maybe he had lower profile tires than you?

The problem with reps isn't so much that they're unsafe. It's that some people get them and pretend to be something they're not. Nothing wrong with reps. But getting reps and putting BBS or Volk centercaps and logos on them...

It's like buying a real Rolex vs. a Folex. There are tons of high quality knockoffs out there, but it doesn't make it the real thing. People can justify all they want, but a $200 fake will never be a $20K Rolex. $1200 Varrstoen's will never be $4K BBS. Some people are OK with knockoff's and some prefer the real thing.

finally someone posted the wheels. i wont join the conversation of fake vs. rep. i've owned both. coming from the VW world i may be a little biased. but after building a set of 3 piece wheels, i could care less to spend the money on something like that again until i have money to blow.

love the way these look, when i pick up my 335 i will definitely be looking into these.

Nice. PHow much did they weigh and what size tire did you fit?

Edit, just saw your gallery. Def aggressive. I'd like to run these but without any stretch. Probably need a 9.5" rear then. I'd like a lot less poke in the front. Edit, it looks like you got the std +29 F/R, which means you have the only option on fit (outside of going square 9.5").

I wish they had an 8.5" for the front.
