When can we expect to see a beta tune for 100% E85 on the site? At what level is an inline pump upgrade required?

Torque holding capacity ? Limit torque ? There are guys pushing 450-480 wtq on E30 with no slippage which sounds like the concern here

Also, why dont you update the Procede to send a scaled torque signal to the DCT controller to at least try to max out the bar pressure on the clutches or would it require a hardware upgrade on the ProCede to do this ?

If you ever replaced an injector you may have seen this residue on the fuel lines and the fuel injector tip itself. This is not a problem while the engine is running as the fuel is constantly flowing and therefore cooling the fuel lines and the injectors. It becomes potentially a problem when you shut off the engine right after a spirited drive. Also, the DI injectors actually protrude in the combustion chamber and therefore they are exposed to all of the heat in the block while the engine is cooling off after it being shut down. If the fuel is not moving it may create a situation where it begins to leave this gunky residue inside the injectors, and therefore possibly shortening the life of the injectors.
you are totally correct, when I swapped injectors after running 100% E85, there is a brown, almost caramel colored gunk on the tips. I wouldn't be surprised if it's actually caramel because of the sugar content in E85, so I inquired with the folks at FFTEC and started using an E85 specific fuel cleaner. After my last injector check, it appears that the stuff works.

Maybe a couple of tanks?

Duralube E85 cleaner. I bought it at Walmart, I can't seem to find any pictures of the bottle on Google.

But it's a clear bottle with green stuff inside. I use half a bottle every 2-3 tanks, as a full bottle is a good for 30 gallons.

anyone have opinions on weather you should use this when running e85 mix find it hard to believe it would be necessary with the detergents in the regular fuel your running . but in my case the e85 out ways the amount of 92oct fuel to get the 50/50 mix ratio so thinking it might be a good idea.

Pull an injector and check for Brown Residue. If so, then it can't hurt to use it.

Any chances at getting a non flex fuel straight E85 map?

This! Exactly the request I would like to file with Shiv. I'm running his full setup but i'm afraid I might have to switch as a DCT owner with RB's.

Are the new Flex Fuel maps uploaded to the website? The latest version I see is for October 9th of last year. I'm getting the car back and would definitely like to have the most up to date maps. I'll be running on a clean intake system and a new O2 sensor.

What happened to the promised revisions to maps and firmware for flex-fuel users?

I'm running the firmware right now with 100% e85, 20-21psi peak boost, the car is smoother than ever, I used to have transient issues when shifting hard between the gears, but now everything is so much smoother and there is no delay in my fuel delivery, shiv is working on another test car right now to test on more than one car, I'm sure he will have the firmware out soon.

I'm looking forward to it! I do notice that when on the flex fuel map, there is a bit of a step difference when I've been driving on low throttle for a long time and decide to floor it. There is a "shudder."

I had been experiencing that same issue before hand, it would almost bog a little then sort of shoot off afterwards, now that's not an issue. You get instant pedal response, and I now have a hard time hooking in 3rd, but I've only got 245's in the rear.

Is that right huh? Is this with the newest flex fuel map that it feels smooth? I haven't had much traction issues so far, since I have AWD. Next mod is intercooler.

Sorry guys, this is partly my fault, I was supposed to drop the car off last week for testing, I just have been super busy with my new job.

I just got the car back. I've been running on 100% E85 and it's been fantastic. The car pulls comically hard. The only problem (as it was last time) was the performance of the engine when it is cold for the first few minutes. Acceleration is unsteady and idle is horrid.
