I probably looked around for about a year myself. In the end, I settled on a great set of Volk Progressive Forged ME's in 19's. In wheels, I truly believe you get what you pay for within reason and your personal budget. Some guys like to put new rims on every year or two. For them, I can see buying rep's to save some money that they won't get back when flipping. Personally, I have always tried to spend good money on great wheels. It never hurts to shop around because the price spreed can be significant at times. This was the case for my purchase.

In the end, personal taste, budget and quaility all need to be factored in to make a great purchase. And who doesn't remember that feeling when you slap on new wheels and rubber! It is better that most things for sure!

Meanwhile, I just changed mine up a little. Forgestar now offer red centre caps, so thought i'd give em a go.

TBH I'm leaning towards the carbon fibre ones..
The red center caps are nice but maybe look a little bit out of place. If you had red calipers they would fit right in. I like the idea of the cf ones. But overall sexy wheels

I can totally relate! I am also searching for rims. I found really nice replica rims from Unlimited Automobile Products (they are also selling on eBay). Did anyone have experience with this company? Are there replica rims good quality?

Look in my signature block. I have a new set of wheels (e92 fitment) in my waiting for a new owner. Never been mounted or took out the box. I got them for track wheels, but now my plans have changed. Had them for sale $1k obo, they are $1,200. No one showed much interest so I'm taking reasonable offers. No gimmicks, no tricks, no lies, and no bullsh!t. Check out my iTrader feedback (the few that people have submitted anyways).

I would have to agree with the op that buying rims can be stressful. There are so many choices of sizing, brands, rubber, and colors to choose from.
I have a black e92 and I'm still trying to find the right rims for my car. I just can't find the right gold with chrome lip I imagine on my vehicle, yet. And sometimes when you do find the right package, another set of rims come along and catches your eyes hahaha.. dam it.
