just talked to my CA and she said it will take 2-3 days to get through customs and VPC, then 1-2 days to be trucked to upstate new york. this is taking so long... let's hope toronto arrives ahead of schedule...

This thread is getting better all the time. Are we flying blind until it gets closer to NY?

not meant to be a downer but just as an fyi for those of you whom have been discharged from a vessel in NYC and are awaiting VPC processing. My vehicle as well as 1.5K others offloaded last week have still not been processed through VPC. No damage reported but apparently there is a backlog and vehicles are not tracking through the system in 2-4 days like many earlier posts in other threads in prior months. My intention is not to be a downer just to provide an FYI because once your vehicle leaves the ship not much you can do to track progress seems to be a black hole. Let me tell you I was so excited last Friday when I was discharged as I was certain I would get my car by Friday at the latest but at this point i am just sick and tired of waiting and pretty much reserved that another weekend of nice vert weather will be lost to transit.

Well I just talked to my CA and it seems the car is at the VPC right now. I hope they move a bit faster but it takes what it takes. The CA is telling me to expect the car on Monday but I won't hold my breath given yours is still in limbo.

I'll let you know when I get any updates such as in transit from vpc to dealer. I did read that black cars my take longer to process through vpc as they require extra detailing due to the protective coating utilized during shipment. Regardless, waiting is the hardest part and it comes when it comes...let me know if you get any updates and i will be sure to do the same.
