Two very good points.

Stu i've picked up a silver 2008 e92 335 Msport, 35,000ks and it is in absolute mind condition!

Cant wait to get in contact with yourself and Allen, for some fun parts

There are some 335s below 40 but they're cars you would want to stick away from imo

I normally look for E92's and there are currently only 4 E92 335i's under $40k and the cheapest is $37k with 125000 kays.

It seems the E90's are cheaper, but the E92's are still mid to high $40's for a decent example from what I can see.

Hmm certainly weird!

I seen the pic looked at the kays price etc and thought shit thats cheap I didnt read their bullshit blurb which contains the info about it being a sedan!!

Christ how confusing, they have 1 pic of a coupe, with it listed as a coupe!!!

Good spotting drjekl. It's definitely a Coupe - piccie of the rear here. It's weird... the price has oscillated between 61k, 57k and 50k since January. Damn good buy if it checks out.

Hmm maybe he needs to finally move the car and has set it at a 'buyers' price.

Looking at the pic again (the one and only picture in the carsales ad) it looks like that was the car when it was delivered new at the dealership so it might not look as good in person now 5 years later....

Rego renewal was on 1st May according to the ad. So yeah, perhaps he didn't renew and just wanted it gone.
Nah, looks good to be honest:

Are your mods quite unique? ie: m3 rear subframe etc... if so, then all you have to do is find the right buyer to pay a price you're happy with. Problem is this can take quite a while (I'm sure you know this firsthand since you used to have a jz'd is200 IIRC?)

BTW, I spotted a 07 BSM e92 6MT with under 50k kms with complete service history, heaps of options and in great condition sell for under 50k (between 45 and 48 i think) a few months ago at an auction.

Are you going to sell soon? If not dw about it! lol.
Depreciation is a bitch.

But when you do sell, you might be better off returning it to stock and getting market value for the car and then selling the mods separately.

Auctions, depends on your luck on the day. Financial repos usually go fairly cheap.

I personally saw a silver 08 335i e93, with 40,000kms, sell for 45k about 3 months ago at Manhiem in Altona.

Was bidding online on Pickles Sydney auction and a e92 m3 in DC-T (had kms on it though, about 90,000) went for 75ish from memory....

Cons? You can't test drive, car might be stuffed, additional fees, etc.
