Right....except using "signed" doesn't appear to fix the Main Timing table. Hmmm..

Also, how did you determine the map breakpoints?

my bad... typo... the timing map (main) starts at 0x63A3A, not 0x62A3A. To convert to deg, divide by 2. Click "signed" box. That should be it.

That 1M rom is already close to be defined. I'm just held up with preparing OpenFlash for launch. Once things are going smoothly, I can get back to that and offer support for other rom types.

Perfect. Alright, well good work! I guess I'll just try to learn as much as I can then and keep toying with it.

XDFs for IJEOS and I8AOS will be up later tonight (or tomorrow AM). Looking at them will get you up to speed quickly. I assume this is just an enrichment exercise for you?

Not entirely sure what you mean there. With the new hardware and software that is available to the N54, the engineer in me can't resist taking this on as a new hobby. I'd like to contribute as much as possible to this open source project in the future. So yeah, basically just trying to get myself up to speed. Seems like literature on this kind of thing is few and far between.

Hey Shiv, When we get the openflash will there already be a few maps on it? Or do we download them onto the unit?

Also I'm looking for the ability to run full 85. Not for the power, but the ease of being able to not have to go from pump to pump trying to get a mixture. Are there going to be maps for e85?

If so will it support a full tank, or just a mixture? If not a full tank, would the procede allow this or would i still need a new lpfp fuel pump to achieve this?

I believe he's said that the maps will not be preloaded but I may be wrong.

You can't switch flash maps on the fly as you can with the Procede. We will work on getting flash times down to the 1-2 minute range but I don't see it going much lower than that anytime soon.

And yes, you are able to run any of our OTS maps (Stage 0-?), flexfuel flash, e85 flash, single turbo flash, etc,. at no extra cost. Just download the OTS template file from our website (they will be by the time we start shipping on Monday), do a file comparison with your ROM file (that the OpenFlash Tablet reads and saves for you) and then click a button on the software that transfers all the mapped data from the template to your original ROM file. Save it under a new name and then load it into your DME using the Tablet. Unlike other flashing platforms, this modifies your existing software. It does not introduce new security routines or change any software/hardware IDs. It's as clean as you can get

this is a flashing device like cobb with scalar so of course tuningwise there are no issues running 100 % E85. the lpfp needs to be upgraded though.

Will this (Walbro GSL392) flow enough for that? I found a few DIY's on it, but didn't see anything about it supporting the 400+ hp tune on full e85.

Hi Shiv,

In the xdf zip file I see stage0 and stage1. Will you be adding to the zip file the back-end fueling map for people running procede with larger twins, pump + meth?

Thanks,
Scott

Thank goodness. I'd like to test with that first to be sure it fixes my OL fueling issue.

I just got my ecu back from Vishnu for their fuel correction / 50/50 flash, does this mean it won't undo these changes or will it overwrite them?
