Hey guys!!
Sorry for the late reply, been super busy with moving to a new place. The guys have been working away at it, but not at full force. I've push them to get a move on it. I will do my best to get this done very soon. The guys been taking on side project to get paid. While this is a long project, it always comes second to the paying once. The fitment will be OEM or better. The cost will stay reasonable. We are trying to pick the right materials for the bumper. plastic would be ideal but getting an oem fitment right of the mold is super challenging, also very costly. I'm trying to stay cool, just a little bit more. Thank you for the support guys. Your wait will not go unrewarded. |

Use polypropylene if you really want to create an OEM-quality product. And don't even bother with fiberglass.

We will be selling polyurethane or polypropylene bumpers only. No fiberglass. all the 3series from 2006+ (2dr & 4dr)
We had to spend additional 450-500hr beefing up the mold structure in order for it to withstand larger production numbers. Thanks Last edited by GRID; 05-23-2014 at 04:06 PM.. |

So Pre-LCI and LCI? I assumed this was only for LCI because of the thread title.

guys are still working on it. sorting stuff out with the mold. the final bumper will fit better then the oem.
We used the wrong material for the mold structure, that set us back 4 weeks or so. ((( I want the bumper really bad. if some of you losing patience... believe me, I'm in that same boat with you guys. Close to 5 grand in materials been spend alone, not including about a 1000 hours, no way back,. |

I'll take the liberty of starting a list since we are all getting bored waiting and would rather be on some type of list lol. 100% buyers, supporters list 1. GRID 2. MUFASA1 3. BOO5TTD 4. ... Of course this list will require payment at some point in time, so please do not add your name to the list if you do not think your 100% going forward. We can start a maybe list for the potential interests. Did I mention we need some pics? |

Links in first post are broken so it's hard to tell what the design for the bumper is since I am just jumping in now, looks like it will be very similar to the M4 front?
Any updated design pictures or blueprints? Think there is a possibility of fitting a Kerscher style lip under it? |

I'm still hanging on for this as an option to Mtech (barely) - any ideas to time frame of E92 pre-LCI release after the LCI is actually out?
