One word for MY08 owners, BMW seems to have changed the harness around the shifter area, and my tech couldn't find a power source for the back light of the shifter. I'm going back to the shop tomorrow to get it fixed, will report progress.

hello guys.
just installed my M5 knob in black CF.
it looks really good. The Cf is the exact same one as the OEM CF trim. i love it.
i haven't installed the lights yet, until a DIY comes, so for now i just clipped it of the stock tube, you will say this is boring.... but it's awesome... ihope the DIY will come soon.

I don't understand why you quoted me 3 different times, it just makes you look like an idiot, obviously there isnt a DYI guide out yet for this retro-fit so that is why I am asking people if they have any leads since they have been working with a tech and said they would update on the install...

Now your just comming out stupid... Did you not understand that I asked multiple times because either
A.) Nobody responded
or
B.) Nobody knew how to; and obviously there were some that have done it so they would be able to chime in.
