my neighbor uses zip ties on his G35... he was telling me that whenever he goes to LA he puts it on with a zip tie then cuts it off when he gets back....

It's sad if those fudgers pull someone over just for having tint. No doubt a 3-series with tint is more likely to be pulled over than a limo, Bentley, crossover SUV, or minivan with tint.

Hi, I am one of those guys who have been pulled over for just about anything. I have been pulled over on the fwy by a Highway Patrol for just tint. Been pulled over by HB PD for front plate as well.

Or you mean specific for CA users...i tend to notice i tinted with Pinnacle F1 tint....when the car has been parked for a really long time....the trunk seems non responsive when i try to open it...but front doors are fine.....not sure was this caused by the ceramic tint???

Simon, from all I've read, I think the non-responsive trunk is more of a CA issue with or w/o the tint. I had times it was somewhat unresponsive in Europe, when I didn't have tint. Just leave your hand there for a few more seconds, it is not as fast as the door handles.

Ceramic is NOT supposed to interefere with your radio nav. I have F1 Pinnacle (ceramic) with no problems.
