Thank you sir! No sweat on the "Flight Suit in medium!" - Yes today felt very slow...coming off that driving high. Surprisingly I still have tread left and my oil gage that stopped working during that is working again - go figure. Must need a constant value range to report level and just does not report anything if there are fluctuations. Only thing I can figure happened but it scared me. All Systems OK was the only reassuring thing until the level came back online.

But yes...I know exactly what you mean...back to the "grind."

Ok Aviators! The Specter bird is ready for the next run! Instead of navigating with one hand and after being clued in on headrest mounts for removable Cams - no more trying to film with one and drive the other (hmmm) - Went out and found this. Now I can capture your sleek machines in action!

Just incase any of you want a Cam mount so you can remove your camera and leave the Carbon Fiber mounting rod in the car as an interior perk/detail. I like the look. Makes me feel all Cup Car SWOL and stuff! Yeah I should get over it but...hey...

Nice Rust. You and your CF obsession !

Oh and why not mount it on the passenger headrest for variety of angles and less chances of shaky/ bumpy shots? Just curious.

Ps. Did you guys buy those Rockstore photos? I'm tempted but it's a bit pricey for a download photo which we can duplicate on our own lol.

Oh and the CF on the drivers side - liked the way it looked! That's about it and weight in the seat I figured would act like a damper and have less possible jitter show up while the cam is going...at least that is what I told myself!

The Mission: Low Level Attack Runs through this!

Mission Debrief: For me the day started early and I arrived at 7:30. A good hot cup of cinnamon/hazelnut coffee in the morning from Seven Eleven and I was ready. Very shortly, the others taxied onto the staging apron and we awaited our Flight Leader - tmdals0213 who arrived, took charge and off we went.

The flight to the insertion point was smooth. No bogeys spotted. After a pause to go over communications blackout hand signals we were off again and it was not long before we were crossing into our theater of operations. We reached the insertion point where non-aspirated and aspirated engines afterburners were engaged and terrain following was turned on. In we went, hard and fast. We engaged sharp turns, wide arcs, ascending and descending straightaways and occasional air traffic. At one point we experienced a "lost flight" moment where, after a turn and a Stop sign, no one was to be seen. After asking "where did they go" to the M3 behind me, a 50/50 guess said bank left so I did and we became the "lost flight" for a little while until the ///M said we need to turn around. This we did and the Flight Leader was at that waypoint...waiting and led us back to the rest of the flight and off we went again. Turns were amazing and in several cases, "Pucker Factoring." Seeing a Vert do a tail whip with aggressive yaw was inspiring.

Along the way we landed and took situation assessments and then were airborne and back at it. We exited to the sight of the beautiful Pacific Ocean beyond PCH and Malibu. Mission Accomplished. All the aviators were cool, calm, collect, and humorous. We arrived as individuals not knowing everyone on the flight and instantly became a cohesive unit that admired each aviators terrain following skills; there was no jockeying for position and everyone was respectful and accountable for their wingman. This is the way all missions should be. Good bravado, humor, man-machine interaction, and safety.

Auto-pilot on, we headed to Korea Town for some much needed lunch and the food was...fantastic. We finished up and took our own vectors back to our home bases. Flying up the 2 I pulled alongside of tmdals0213 our Flight Leader and thanked him for the day then banked onto the 134 east. All in all I have eight new Bimmerpost friends with which I share this Sortie 092114 experience. Until the next covert air ops mission...

Sortie snapshots are below:
Couldn't have said it any better rusty! Thanks for posting up the pics and the t-shirt. The "lost flight" will still be a nice memory. Banking left and realizing the rest of the squadren wasn't there haha. Can't wait to do it again with the aviators.

After downloading the Hi Res (17.50) the clarity is bang on! You will def be able to see yourself clearly behind the wheel! There is the action poster shot for your :I Love Me" wall if you have one! LOL!!!! Pictures are niiiiiiiiiccccccceeeeee! A little bit on the high side but I have blown more on less - it's only money and you cannot take it with you!

Yeah I think the Hi Res is adequate. This good enough to make a cool poster board pic and put it on your wall too...though I have not done that...yet... Wish he used a slower speed so you could get the effect of the wheels spinning and the speed but these are def very good pics!!

Looks like it is 10/21 - top of the page has RSVP going now but I think that date is wrong - that is a Tuesday.
