bought second hand car for my son, 116d 2009, and maps weren't updated since 2009. Tried to get 1b.hex many times, with many usb keys, but no success. If i understand right in 1b.zip there is copie_scr.sh, which i put on the root of usb key?
Well nothing happens. VIN WBAUH51020E316232
I'd be grateful for any advice.

copie_scr.sh only works with CIC (PREMIUM Map). Your car has CIC-MID (Motion Map).

I have an F11 with CIC system and the map: Road Map Europe Premium 2011i
ECE
101094.2.14

I tried to acquire file 1b as described here on the website, but without success.

I've tried several USB sticks formatted in several different ways and so far nothing.

I also tried to generate the code from the VIN only but every time I try to update it gives the incorrect code.

Someone can help me?

I would like to ask for FSC code for maps update please.
I bought a used car and the navigation maps are not updated, when I turn in navigation menu it show just pointer with no maps at all. Not sure which version is installed.

NBT has no 1B File, it ha a DE File you must use.

I am trying to update my map on the BMW E90 from a 2008 Europe Map to the latest 2024-2 West Europe.
The car has CIC Professional and probably has the CIC updated once since the map view has an i with a tick on the... round thing on the bottom left.
Current version:

Road Map Europe PREMIUM 2008-2

As mentioned above, I would like to update to Road Map Europe West PREMIUM 2024-2.
I managed to pull the 1b.hex file with 319b on my USB Stick and tried to download the "FSC Generator" by Jagaer but the download doesn't work.

My car's last 7-digit VIN is: E185701

Can someone help me out?

If I click on the link in the post (https://www.e90post.com/forums/showthread.php?t=1453464) a tab opens and simply closes again. Nothing starts to download. I tried using differen browsers but no avail.
