Got serious oneitis for a Z4 Coupe. Will struggle to find one near home and will struggle more to find one anywhere within budget. Needing reputable dealers only due to the travel expense!

Running away from Big's add on Auto Trader, sigh. Could be a mistake but can't ignore a 4 year/50 page thread.

Am so glad I stumbled upon this thread, incidentally it was the top one on the Google search! I am looking for either a newish 318/320d touring, or, if I can convince the Mrs, an X5! Was very taken by this place on auto Trader, as you obviously were as well DontWantAThree. Does anyone have any ideas of REPUTABLE dealers around London or surrounding counties that deal in Beamers? I feel the only way to get decent service/guarantees is to go to a BMW dealer, but their prices are so far over that it kinda breaks my heart! Please help!!

Visited the Big Motoring World in Maidstone a couple of weeks ago. I've been aware of this thread for sometime and but put it behind me as being biased and gave them a fair chance while some friends browsed some cars (the reason for the visit).

With in two minutes, at the main entrance to the vehicle area, a northerner was furious about the condition of an alloy wheel that was not mentioned to him on the phone before travelling all the way down. Apparently he queried if there was any damage on the vehicle over the phone, and was told no, but the alloy was clearly in a bad way. (An otherwise gorgeous 6 Series he was looking at).

The staff are actually quite friendly, and it was nice to talk to some people in BMW-lingo and have them understand you. As for the cars, not the best in terms of "OEM" authenticity but I've never seen a bigger collection of BMWs before. However, I don't think I would ever buy from them - don't really know why, it's a gut-instinct.

Just some random thoughts, anyway... war on

Thise testimanials are utterly unbelievable!!! How many genuine buyers would comment on the "the sales process".

How on earth can they think they add any credibility to their business?

These guys from Big Motoring World Group, selling Second hand used BMWs, for sale in Kent, BMW 1 Series, 3 Series, 5 Series, 6 Series, 7 Series, X3, M3, Z3, Z4, must only have about 3 brain cells between the lot of them - if that!!
