it's adjustable flow/heat, and only a thousand watts so it's not too hot.
It's made for shrinking polyester films on model airplanes.

there's also a bevy of specialty tools to make sure your seam overlaps are always consistent and perfect too.

I sell those little irons at work. My heat gun died so I grabbed a cheap one off amazon. I know a little bit about covering full sized aircraft but I never messed with models.

they still make those things in ARF format I believe.
GP is one of the few survivors in the industry. Got big enough to buy everyone else.

This is why I hate taking my car anywhere.
30 seconds to wrap that boot with tin foil would have avoided the massive PITA of pulling the knuckle and rebooting this shaft.

I ordered a boot kit, they're going to do the labor.

Have you considered wrapping the trim around the cup holders (including the small cup holder trim), trim around the light switch and key hole?

Nah, I think the wood anchors the car, makes it look planted on earth. Plus, it is dynamic, changes, with the elements, the light in the cabin, even the speed! it is shinny and blends superbly with the interior and the brightness outside, it reflects both!

I never like the wood trim, and I especially never like the look of that color interior. But for some reason I really like it in that picture.

I ordered a drill brush set and cleaned a small area of my seats with the soft bristle brush and my god! The difference is night and day.
Going to do the entire car tomorrow.

Came pretty close to finishing my trim painting DIY..... Ended up having to redo the rear passenger door trim as that was the experiment piece which meant another trip to the store and watching paint dry.

That looks pretty good. I've have a spare set of aluminum trim that is beat to shit, looks like a dog chewed it up. I've been thinkin about sanding it down and doing something similar to what you've done.
