Ugh,, IATs just go thru the roof. Where are you venus? And since it looks like the log says 2.7 hrs you must have drove there ;-)

Got to get those down. Thats is probably somewhat related to not hitting load requests. Boost actual is a good ways from target. I Would think you get IATs down and see if those dont come closer. That is OTS e40 from mhd? You are just about at the limits of that LP pump.

biggest thing I am seeing is mhd version 1.1 map v90. So how old is this map? I Guess its not even version 6?

I would suggest you change to a v7 map. We can get some more common log parameters that way.

Is this an N55 with mhd?

edit 8:26
Yeah, bud considering the versions of MHD for N55s that are out ( https://play.google.com/store/apps/d...sher.n55&hl=en) which you might want to consider updating, you probably want this forum - http://www.e90post.com/forums/forumdisplay.php?f=375

But its pulling timing all across the board. I would try something less agressive or throw some octane at it and see what happens. :-D

Now thats a log folks :-D First one is 2nd gear thru 6th and the second one is a high gear rollon.. (that seems to be better for showing NM outputs).

Looks like something under your hood is not holding boost very well.
Also your load actual and requested are way off.

Yeah, I was looking at that. Not getting any 30ff and it generally stays close to target (both boost mean/target and load req/act) in the rollons and in higher gears the two are closer. Boost mean is generally within 1 psi of target. I am thinking it has something to do with the weather since its well over 100 and IATs are in the 130+ range. I was gonna wait until we get a little cooler air and see what they look like. All hardware is fresh., the fact that its making 600+ at several points at relatively low boost tells me most everything is good..

Hi guys,

I recently flashed to stage 1+ on an E90 335i N54 with 105 633 miles, a RB PCV Valve and VRSF DCI's using 98 RON fuel.
Because of the climate here in Belgium, I was advised by Martial that stage 1+ could be flashed as long as I didn't go track the car or go for long and multiple pulls.
Even though I mentioned that the waste gate rattle is already present.

Pretty soon after a WOT or two, I got the dreaded 30FF code.
I immediately flashed back to stage 0, because as enthusiastic as I was about flashing MHD I forgot to back up the ecu...
Shortly after flashing back to stage 0, I keep getting shadow code 2AAF paired with a slightly rough cold start.

The vacuum lines are going to be replaced, a chargepipe with BOV will be installed and if after that I'm still getting the 30FF I'll need to get the turbo's done...

Recent maintenance done within 4,5k miles :
- New oil
- New coils
- Walnut blast
- New spark plugs
- Valve cover replacement
- 1 new injector (BMW replaced only 5 to index 12 injectors...)

Yesterday I accelerated with 50% pedal position from 40 mph in 4th gear and got a 30FF code, even though it's on stage 0...
So I went ahead and logged a 3rd gear pull yesterday, do you guys see anything out of the ordinary?

My log at stage 0

Thanks in advance!

Those shifts aren't great as far as DCT goes. 5>6 isn't bad except the limiter, but the rest could be cleaned up and torque output is low for DCT. OTS AT maps aren't the best idea for DCT cars.

So, you are saying it would need a custom tune?

AT maps? You're saying that its not flashed for the DCT trans? Well, that should not be the case. DCT was selected (and it is identified in the last 3 chars of the map).

So, I guess Im not quite understanding you. I do see the Torque limit events at shifts but I am not completely sure why. They never showed up before. I did have it set to sport and to manual shifts. Maybe that had something to do with it. Next time I will not set them both. Maybe its just enough shock to be flagged as a traction loss or something.

edit It certainly pulls timing after each shift. Cyl 1 goes from 8 degrees advance to about 6 retard. I imagine the others do too.

As far as output (and OTS DCT maps) goes, numbers are higher than this stage2 flash with DPs. http://www.datazap.me/u/noguru/first...ata=3-17-18-26

There are DCT maps or do you mean flash time DCT option for boost limit? I'm not aware of any specific DCT OTS tunes...not that I ever look at OTS maps, but if that is an OTS DCT specific tune, needs some work.

Yes, that torque output is low for a DCT. I've run mine up to 1000nm, but generally keep it 750-850nm depending on the rest of the tune. Looks like yours is ok for the boost you're running right now, but shifts obviously needs to be dialed in. Always for DCT, I'd go straight to custom tune. @******** is the go to DCT tuner.

Of course his has the same issues, you're using OTS maps from the same tuner. Need to watch slippage, how much torque drops, how much timing drops, how it recovers after shift and if any torque limiters are present.

Second log on stage 0 and it's bad...

In stead of reading the codes with Carly, I read the DME with MHD and found the following codes after getting a CEL after performing a WOT in 3rd gear:

Active codes:
- 30FF Turbocharger, charge-air pressure too low.

Shadow codes (inactive):
- 2FCA Fuel high pressure upon release of the injection
- 2FDA Fuel high pressure at or after release of the injection
- 2FDB Fuel high pressure after release of the injection

A friend of mine just flashed stage 1+ and i noticed the boost is building very slowly. the car has 70k miles on it, no wastegate rattle.

N55 Log

Can someone please take a look at my log? I'm on stage 0, wanting to make sure everything is looking good before going stage 2+.

93 octane, AR Design 4" Catless Downpipe, BMW Performance Exhaust, AA Race Intercooler installed already. Waiting on my VRSF CP with Tial BOV before I do an actual tune.

http://www.datazap.me/u/downzero/8-2...og=0&data=3-13

I can do a 3rd gear 40 roll pull if need be. This is from a dig with traction control on. Still getting used to the car so keeping TC on for now.

Thanks!

Reset the counter values in your MHD app. Your log is missing a lot of values. Then do a 3rd gear pull.

I'll do a 3rd gear pull in an hour or so. Those were the default values for logs, I went back and just checked everything. I noticed I'm missing STFT 2 and Lambda bank 2 from what others have posted though.
