I am not too concerned. You're right in your link, but that's just the regular CLA - I really, really, realy doubt Mercedes will skip the AMG version for Canada. It might take a bit longer, but I am in no hurry. I'm sure it will come

[edit] interesting. Reading the specs, if one were to assume a gain of about 15% of the CLA45 for AWD and "stuff" over the CLA250, then it would come out about 170 kgs heavier than my R. That's pretty crazy. The 335xi had a ptw ratio of 226 hp/ton, my R is going to be 210 hp/ton when my mods are done. Which means that if the numbers match up, it will have 210 hp/ton BEFORE any tuning. I guess the only problem is it's a pretty tiny engine, so the chances of it gaining 30-50% additional power like the N54 does are cockall. Oh well. Should still be a snappy vehicle.

Now they are thinking of bringing a 4 series coupe following the 3-series sedan. Cough* Audi A5 coupe following its A4 series *cough

All products are getting to be similar if you ask me.

BMW has indeed been a bit iffy lately. The new F30 is huge, mushy and somehow just not ... right. or tight. iPhone can correct this to whatever it wants. I haven't tried an F30 335, but I drove the "sport" line and it was pretty meh. Maybe the M will be better...

The way it's going that wouldn't surprise me one bit, e90/2 v8 3500 lbs is so far remote from the original E30 M3 it's not even funny, even if still quite potent.

M3 should be max 2800 lbs, 350hp I6, but I know it wouldn't sell much down south if it doesn't have all the creature comforts.

This is probably the lowest mileage Mini you'll find.
