Yep. I am a member on that site.

And I got a response. My store contacted their distributors who confirmed it is "alternate packaging". Same yummy Rum inside. I kinda like that bottle. It reminds me of Cognac bottles. Which isn't surprising considering Plantation is partners with house of Pierre Ferrand, legendary Cognac!

After doing some research, I came across this and I MUST seek it out at all costs! The history, the limited edition, the tropical flavors... YES Please!!!

I'm on Pride's mailing list, but I still haven't taken the opportunity to pick anything up. What do you recommend from them?

I picked this up tonight. Not sure how I feel about it yet,

I am not an expert on describing flavors but the initial taste is sweet and woody, the pineapple is pronounced. It definitely lacks the refinement of the 20yr aged, it has some heat in the end. Its a nice add for 30$ but the 20yr will still be my go to.

Thanks the the update. I'm headed to the stire tomorrow and I began wondering if it would compare with the extra smooth sipping Rums in used to. Probably not. I'll see if something else catches my eye..

Its certainly better than your average flavored rum, I don't think I would use it as a mixer, that's what the 10$ bacardi crap is for.

Im almost out of Plantation 20yr, but I did buy a nice bottle of patron for margharitas this weekend, anyone have a good recipe. I usually use frozen lime juice concentrate, citron, tequila and ice.
