Same thing just happened to me.

Car is a 2008 BMW 335i with 47k.

I just had both turbos replaced under BMW factory warranty.

Wow!

What a difference. I now have no lag and best of all, that waste-gate rattle is gone! I can actually now hear the turbo spool.

Hey! Just got your PM! Yeah, I think you pretty much nailed it. In a way I feel cheated, but at the time I felt as though I was in no position to argue since I was fully modded and they were going to do it anyways. I wonder if it would've been the same if I brought my car to Terry in South County BMW. $875 was a large chunk of money, but trying not to think about it much anymore haha.

But I do love the fact that I have no more wastegate rattle!

I've actually never been to an SD meet, but Kearny Mesa sounds good! I believe you guys use to meet in front of Lolitas right? Next to Tea Station?

I last lived here in 2009-2011 and I think I remember some tea station meets.

Kearny Mesa is a nice central location.

I remember I went to my first BMW meet here in SD back in 06' all the e90s met by the 15 Freeway by the mall and we went for a drive to Julian or something..it was fun!!

You can try euro auto spot in Mira mar or group 5 motorsports also in Mira mar they can do that for you.
