DPF Delete

My head hurts from ready this thread. Haha.

I have a couple questions.

1. Can we make a sticky post that lists the parts that we need for sure and then lists optional parts to buy in case we need them? I'm lost as to what I actually need.

2. TDIwyse ran a 12.6 with his old set up. My best time with JBD was 13.9. I know most of us do not have the same stuff as TDIwyse, so what are we looking at here...low 13's to high 12's ya think? I bought the EGR fix. I have a meth kit ready to install (kinda). I'm just trying to get a realistic idea of the improvements this will offer.

Any help would be awesome!

I ran 12.9 with only JBD and meth in mine, otherwise completely stock down to the sport package wheels and RFTs, and that was before any EGR block off or significant time with methanol use. With the DPF and tune on a clean engine I would expect you guys to run no worse than high 12s. Though that wont stop anyone from running 14s on that setup, I bet the high end of the potential is in the mid 12s range, maybe 12.6-12.8?

Cuda send him a email again you're on the list I cant/wont cause Im not buying their product. I hope your compadre STAN is listening People are anxious to have this product done for them, its a shame, the list is finally filed up and yet to recieve shipment unless they have done it and no one has come forward

A tune and a JBD are pretty close on power if not the same, and when I drove a Malone tuned 335d, the shifts felt pretty close as well...

Axel, I was talking to some of the other 10. To be clear, order wasn't held up waiting on #10. JR placed order when there were only 9 buyers but he ordered 10 pipes. #10 buyer stepped since then. I'm okay with the wait as I'm waiting on some tools to do the job.

Cuda send me a pm and I will send you a pic of the pipe my friend did so we can do comparos when you get yours ok!!! My friend has the Ecotune tune and with his own pipe and he told the car is a MONSTER!!!

JR is gone on a business trip and will not be back until monday. I hope that the pipes are getting closer to being in NJ. May be we will try Ecotune over the pond next, they can give us an update. Wish they would just come in here and post so we are updated and stop guessing.

I called Friday. JR was on a business trip. So, I didn't get the story as to where we're at. My tooling should ship this week (high end jack stands from reverse logic). I will start new thread when they come.

I was wanting to do pipe switchover when stands came.
