I notice it more in the snow for sure, but did not have the car that long without snow before I got it. I def feel more sure footed in general but maybe that is just some sort of placebo effect. Kyle may have more insight on dry pavement traction.

I can say this much. Before if I had to accelerate from a stop and turn (like at a stop sign at busy intersection) I used to feel my back end go out. Now I don't.

I think I'm too new to RWD to even want an LSD just yet. I like whipping around corners, back end sliding... quite a bit.

You're not a clubber (some of us even wonder if you ever leave your house), you're not Bratislavan from what I know, and you are from a more affluent town than most of the members here (money = educated which = more refined tastes). I just don't get it is all.

I've studied music theory, I've taken traditional music classes, I've taken ELECTRONIC music classes. I'm helped produce CDs with programming in them, I've performed ON albums with electronic programming on them... I know damn well how it's composed.

Nowhere did I say I didn't give it credit, I just don't feel in my opinion it deserves much of it. Theory is a necessity of ALL music, and I don't discount that MOST of the electronic stuff has it (some music whether electronic or not just sucks... no escaping that), but to be able to put your theory into practice on a real live instrument takes WAY more talent than being able to arrange it on a computer screen. Things are lost in computers, the live performance contains so many little oddities that computers just don't replicate. You can't compose feeling or raw emotion on a computer. I'm not saying you can't make someone FEEL emotional listening to it, that is more theory based, but actually feeling the artist feel what they are playing is magical. Billy Holiday, John Coltrane, Sam Cooke, Jimi Hendrix, Robert Plant, Jim Morrison. Just a few names that when you hear them play or sing, you FEEL it in them, you feel their connection to the music, the lyrics, the mood. I just don't think that is possible to replicate in a computer the way some of the music is made (though I will admit there is a little bit out there that has a lot more feeling to it and the name Trent Reznor is usually attached to it somehow (though I'm sure there is a big old list on the top of your head).

I hear this a lot actually. Computers are cold, impersonal, and that music created on them is done by less talented individuals. False - it is done by individuals with just as much talent, though instead of playing a guitar or a piano or what have you, their talents lay in computers. The music created on them, likewise, is no more impersonal, emotional, etc than music created on an analog instrument. Whether or not it touches you (no homo) as such, is up to the listener...I feel absolutely nothing, to be honest, listening to Billy Holiday for example. It doesn't appeal to me, but I won't deny it from someone who enjoys it, and won't try and tell them why a Rachmaninov Prelude is much more emotionally moving, even though, to me, it is. There was a time when Rock and Roll was considered an abomination to "decent" people's sensibilities, and think that just because it's something perceived as new (though electronic music has been since the 1920s) and is not as widespread as other forms who've had the luxury of excellent artists giving it a strong foothold, it's perceived as a lesser form or unworthy of serious discussion. The serious discussion is there, you're just not a part of it.

Anyway my point is basically this: I don't care for this style of music as it doesn't hit the music button in my brain because MOST of it is so precise as it is not made by the slightly imperfect hands of a man but the 1,000,000 processes of a computer. However, just because I don't like it doesn't mean I'm not qualified to justify my opinion because you don't think I know what I'm talking about. No I don't know AS much as some on this genre but I know enough and have been exposed to plenty so I think my opinion is valid here.

Just because you don't like the taste of carrot cake doesn't mean you have to be a classically trained chef to say it's just not that good.

And mine is basically you can like or dislike any music you'd like. That is where you're opinion should end. But considering it a lesser form because you don't like it or you don't like how it's produced is absolutely ignorant. The spontaneity and the human element which you covet so much is absolutely there...but not if you aren't willing to take a chance to see it. Reminds me of the AT vs MT debates...real car enthusiasts drive MT right?

well it was motorwerks who fucked up this order...the glass company specified the rain sensor and it said rain sensor on the invoice...yet no rain sensor. Now I'm just concerned with getting it faster...shouldn't take over a month to get a windshield

Called them, got someone who could barely speak english, who hung up on me and didn't pick up after I called back. So I called the next number
