omg, let's do it Steve. I'm thinking about either
1. Santa Barbara (Not sure what itinerary I would do there)
2. Hearst Castle + wine tasting- Probably not a great choice for you due to the walking involved, not to mention alcohol.
3. SF trip

Her Bday is 10/31 (Halloween!); When is your bday again Steve?
that sounds like a plan...
my bday's 05/29

hahaha yeah too much walking and alcohol right now is a no-no for the wifey

Me too, that's when I was younger and could handle driving 6 hours in the middle of the night. Now I'd fall asleep on the road.

[QUOTE=snohman;1415734]Hamann rear john, do it....I just might.....
wait no more mods for me...I must...resist....
[quote]

Check your prices on the Hamann rear. It's in MTec rear bumper (w/o diffuser) territory! Hamann rear would mean quads Steve? Ray, can you get this?

B&B sounds fun, we've never actually done one, but I've been wanting to swing by SB too, haven't been there in ages either...
let me know if you guys plan on it!
Will do then! When's your bday?

1. the pix u posted of tips are okay, but nothing spectacular. Jenn's quads are definitely head-turning. to me anyway.
2. go SB. if you go further then it will be too tiring to have fun, unless u have a week. especially that you like longer trips. SB FTW man

Not exactly sure, 3.5-4" but they don't look that big because of how they are curved (go look at the pic). Eric@SPP was saying to paint the inside of the tip flat black to make them look bigger.

I never really have been to SB much. Itinerary please?

Quads are yes, head-turning, but going with quads + new rear would be over $2600. I don't want to spend that kind of money right now, Christmas, Winter (see: snowboarding trips), etc. are coming up soon.

look, trust me with this. if you dont want to do it perfectly then do not do it. I learned this too late. look at my tint, look at my wheels. i should have spent more money, or just not changed a thing. Honestly.
i regret spending 2k on wheels, but i wouldnt have regretted that if i spent 3k on them, u know what im saying?

SB... u dont know how to get there? it's on the 101.
anyway, you want to stay somewhere really close to State Street. all hotels are motel-style, very simple, and nothing fancy really, not even 4 seasons hotel (350 a night for regular days).
there's lots of wineries, if ur into that, you can go to Solvang to chill or eat, or even drink (small boring town), you can take cruises, surf, kayak... etc. whatever you want, i guess mostly depends on weather

Wow, solvang, haven't been there in a long time either.
I guess SB is close enough to be spontatneous, although it's tough when the +1's weekends are taken sometimes

I know what you are saying but if I get quads, it would probably be with the Hamann diffuser. I must budget. I already spent a lot on my car, that's the difference.

Well thanks, I guess I'm going to have to research an itinerary for SB.

I know what you mean. Last time a went down to wait in line for a hot dog, then drove right back. We decided that was the last time.

Bastuck Quads - I am confident it will look better with the Hamann Diffuser:

Here's the Hamann Diffuser with the Hamann Exhaust (tips do look a bit thinner):

Bastuck Duals:

Note: If I could get the Hamann Style tips on the Bastuck, I'd probably do it already. Don't tell me to get Hamann or Hartge, they are all above $3k for exhaust only.
Someone get Hamann to Sponsor me.
