To vanilla. I saw the crossover though, and it is interesting. Acura is coming out with their own version of it as well. I am actually looking at the G8 GT pretty strongly right now.

the g8 gt is good lookin, my neighbor has one, quite nice.

arguably one of the nicest looking cars out as of late from gm

best part is, its actually a Holden, so pontiac didnt have their slimy hands on it for very long or for much of the ground up design process (perhaps why it looks good)

Yeah I fell in love with the thing when I saw it in Detroit at an auto show a few years ago. The interior is no where near a BMW, but it is a good deal bigger. And with some easy mods the GT can be up over 400 HP/TQ so it will keep the boy racer side of me happy as well. With Pontiac shutting the doors, they will also be fairly scarce, but since they are sourced from Australia the parts shouldn't dry up right away. I was thinking about going to the GXP since it has the LS3 engine, but I drive so much I can use all the extra MPG I can get so the standard GT package works for me.

good to see ya again buddy... did my facebook message motivate you to start posting again?

hey you should check out the new TSX V6, 285hp and gonna be faster than the TL. Its a little bigger than the 3 but obviously the same size as the accord 4 door.

oh and it still gets 27mpg hwy

Really, I thought the TL was the same size as the Accord and the TSX was closer to the size of our 3. Because of this I had discounted the TSX all together. If it is the size of the accord though I will check it out.

yeah the TL is actually a bit bigger, more like a taurus. the TSX is built off the Accord platform.

I had an 07 and although it was slow as balls... it was a REALLY nice car. Handles like a dream, my 6spd was a lot of fun and it comes fully loaded standard. only extra you can add on is the touch screen navi (with is worth the $2000 IMO, lots of nice functions with it).

With the new V6 put in it, its gonna be a pretty hot selling car... only downside is that its FWD.

i just looked on vehix and the accord interior dimentions are still a bit bigger than the tsx but only by an inch or two in head room and back seat leg room. so if you are looking for larger, you should maybe just get a base TL cuz its just about the same price as the TSX with the V6 in it.

the TSX is built on the euro-accord platform. It is slightly smaller than the accord we have here in the US. It used to slot in size wise between the integra and the TL.

The TL shares a platform with the current accord, so they should be near the same size.

get the 1 yr old TL type-S, nice lookin, or get the new TL thats coming out with 6MT and SH-AWD, and have the ronjon front grille installed to get rid of that oogly from plenum, and its a winner.

look at you vudoo... all knowledgeable about Ron Jon kits and everything.

I will have to say I agree that the 3rd gen TL's are much better looking than the new 4th gens. The new front grille looks like a buck tooth.

Paul you get an acura and I'll set you up with some sweet mods for it.... like the comptech supercharger

the stock grille isn't too bad on the 3rd gens but I'd personally vinyl it or have it powder coated black

Oh yeah, I forgot that. I had an 05 RSX-S and a lightly modded 07 TSX. I had 8000 posts over on Acurazine until I got banned this spring for giving the site Admin a piece of my mind when he suspended 37 members including myself, for posting NWS pictures of girls (who knew a girl in a bikini is now considered NWS) that we knew in a massive 600 page thread.

The 4th gen will grow on me too I'm sure. I didn't like the new TSX when it came out and I still think my 07 was a beauty but they are looking nice now when you add the OEM underbody spoiler kit. Just sucks they won't offer the TSX V6 in a 6mt cuz that would be a shit ton of fun to drive.

I think Al might be getting them. He's got the VK downpipes. Either that, or he's getting the flash adjusted to ignore the o2 sensors.
