Sorry guys, Sunday's a no go for me. I'm oncall over the weekend and have to stick close to home for the most part.

On another note, I'm digging the look of this upcoming Tesla model (for an electric sedan it's not bad compared to the other horrific designs to date)

Your wife, kids, girlfriends, significant others are definitely welcome.

I'll provide food, but if you're willing to contribute something edible, it'd be appreciated.

What's up guys, I posted a hello months ago and then got busy. It sounds like you guys all know each other pretty well. So my car has been in the shop for almost 2 weeks. It started going into limp mode all of the time. I was running a Juice Box piggy back set up and pulled it off when it started kicking into limp mode. Anyhow, the first thing they determined was that the camshaft was either out of balance, or was bumping into an edge. They, (BMW of Pleasant Grove) said they have seen that on one other 335. After that they tested it and it was still firing codes. Yesterday I stopped by hoping it would be done. It wasn't, but the Service Manager took me back to look at it on the lift and i got the chance to talk with the mechanic. I guess they ended up replacing both turbos due to an older wastegate design that had worn out. Thank goodness for the warranty, who knows what the bill on this will come out to. The Service Manager said that BMW was coming out with a line of performance bolt on's, including tuning for the 335. Has anyone heard anything about go fast goodies for the 335 from BMW?

Hey, I wasn't scared off, but won't be available for a bbq tomorrow, and didn't want to post just to be negative.

Sounds like we might be looking at next weekend? Might be able to pull that off. Saturday will be a scary day though, work wise, so we shall see. Seems like posting online/working consumes about 80 percent of my life lately.

Yes, BMW supposedly has released a tuning kit for the N54.. But we havent seen it yet.

I have been waiting for Laurie to get back from her trip with her sister to see if we would be going to the BBQ. It's a no go for us. Sorry. Bimmer had his bags packed to go. He is bummed.
