I noticed in the photo (the one with the gopping purple lighting ) the BMW liner isn’t folded in correctly at the edges. May be that’s why it’s moving around? I noticed when I got mine, it was packaged flat - sandwiched between 2 cardboard sheets and that flattened out the formed edges. Once I folded them back to shape they fit in the join of the boot floor and stop the liner moving. Perfect fit.

I'll take gopping, could have been worse!

Cheers for the tip, it is a bit kinked but didn't think it was having a big effect, will get it out and maybe get some heat on it to straighten out, see if that sits better.

Doesn't slide around or anything. I have jammed my hockey bag in there a bunch of times and the wheels on the bottom don't scratch / scuff the mat at all. Seems to be very durable.

Just got a foldable boot tidy/box off Amazon due to the lack of storage areas in the boot. Obviously doesn't protect the boot floor but it stops all my stuff rattling around the boot!

Also fitted the M Performance door projectors yesterday.

YES!!! Good Luck! Let us know how it turns out. I was bummed when these were removed for the 2023's I have twin 12yr olds, and these would come in handy.

I got a Caseling zip up box (Amazon) for my jumper cables. Planning on getting more (different sizes) for my battery tender and other stuff.

Also got velcro stretchy nets (Aliexpress) to keep it all together. Here is my tire inflator, jumper cables and first aid kit, all neatly stacked. The good thing about this storage solution is that it doesn't take any space away from the rest of the trunk.

I love my 2022 G42, never plan to part with it. It is just mind blowing, BMW realized they made the 22 too good and just starting removing random stuff to save cost and somehow make it appear thier way overpriced other series models seem to somehow have value. When you look at the 8 series and see the same interior parts for more than double the price.

I don't believe my Chevy Equinox and the Stingray share any of the same interior.

Bringing up ancient past here, but where exactly is this panel located in the vehicle? Hard to tell from the first photo

If this is in the rear panel, would you mind sharing how you were able to get it removed. I’m having some trouble lol

Thanks.

My plan is to splice into the usbc port in the center console and fish the wires to the back.

Received and installed the 3D trunk mat today. Great fit and the underside eliminates any movement once it’s in place. Very happy with it and a huge improvement over the BMW one.

This is how I had expected the OEM mat to look and fit. May have to do this as well.

I share that sentiment. Even watching the video review of those made my neck twitch after a while, haha.
