Anyone know remember governing body for the north park races. all i know that you have to pay a membership and the races cost around $20 bucks.
Honestly I prefer the ones in Beaver Run larger track instead of going in a tight circle like north park. That would definitely be a great outing as I have done it once. |

Newby to e90post...
Hey guys...
My name is Jim and I live in the south hills. I just picked up a 2008 barbera red 335xi on Saturday and I joined the site on Sunday. I traded in my e46 325i so I've been a fanatic for a few years now, but I'm totally new to E90post. I'm glad to see some guys from Pittsburgh keeping a post / group like this together. Do yinz mind if I stop by your next get-together to check out your cars in person? JLee83 |

Wheel suggestions for this shade of red...
While I'm thinking of it.
I was wondering if you guys might have some suggestions for wheels for my car. Not sure I want to do matte black, but I'm not totally sold on hyper silver either. I'm currently leaning towards VMR 710's or 701's in gunmetal. (Or possibly one of the other powdercoat options that I've seen on some sites.) I plan on blacking out the window trim and the front grilles, and tinting the windows. I'm open to "photoshop" suggestions too. If you have a minute, please throw your two cents in. Thanks guys. JS |

I would also drop it same time as wheels and also take care of the amber reflector and get some tints!

Wheels...
That's funny you say that because that's exactly what I was thinking.
I was originally partial to the V710's, but the V701's have really been looking good to me recently. What do you think of the Satin Bronze powdercoat down on the far right from PYSpeed.com? (Just curious - I'd have to see them on someone's car first, but from this photo they might have potential.) Oh, and you're right - I'm getting the painted reflectors too. The cost of lowering, along with the always horrific PGH roads have always made me kind of nervous about slamming my car. My 325 wasn't lowered, but it had a front lip that was a little lower and my wife just mashed it. Do you guys get body damage around here with a lowered suspension? |

Satin Bronze looks fantastic!
I am lowered with a hamann lip and never even really rub. Just gotta be careful. If you are planing on running after market wheels, imho you gotta lower it too, kinda go hand in hand if you ask me. I just id lowering springs and I am satisfied with both looks and handling!
