For the benefit of people w/o IDrive, is this a feature that is customizable?
Well, if you are scrolling through a page on a computer using the arrow keys, which key do YOU use to advance to the next page? The songs on the screen are the same way; the next song is below the current one so I press the down arrow.

The Rear shade does not go down if you select reverse. In fact, it stays there till you lower it.

Like the voice activation of the BT Phone. You dont need to press the button again to issue new commands, it just automatically engages the microphone till YOU switch it off.

The Bluetooth System is named after the last 5 digits of each car's vin number. For instance, if the last 5 digits of the vin are 68084, it appears as BMW68084.Very cool.

Sorry, that's hardly something that we DON'T know. In fact, that probably the only thing that everyone with a 335 DOES know.

Now, hang on. Mine worked perfectly fine...right up until when it got squashed when the car got totaled.

It makes sense if you look at how the songs/tracks are laid out visually on the iDrive screen. You wouldn't want the arrows on the wheel operating opposite of what your visual interface is telling you. I admit, it's odd when you think about it, but while looking at the screen, it makes perfect sense.

If you have MT and you upshift clutch-lessly, you cant activate cruise until you push the clutch in and out. If you try you just get the MPH---

Why would you upshift without using the clutch?

To re align your sunroof you merely press the sunroof button in and wait a minute and hold it while it goes through it's function check and resets itself.

I had a fuse problem going on with my door locks and I couldn't open my gas cover because i couldn't unlock the entire passenger side of my car, Well i used the sunroof fuse to fix that problem temporarily and then filled up my tank once i got new fuses(higher Amps) for the door locks. I replaced the sunroof fuse only to get a problem indicator for the sensor, called the BMW of Columbus Georgia told him my problem and he walked me through it as i was waiting at a stop light. One minute later it was life in the fast lane and hot rays

I don't know of a way to do that automatically, but if I want to hear a song again, I just use the up-arrow to jump to the beginning of the previous song (which is the one I was just listening too).
If I've heard more than about 5 seconds of the following song, I have to hit the up-arrow twice, or it will only jump to the beginning of the song that had just started.

Is there any way to "pause" a song when listening to your iPod?

Haven't found a "pause" button yet, but when I need to pause I just push the "on/off" knob (the volume knob), pretty much does the same function.
