What's up fellas? Long time, been working at the office lately.

Happy to report, finally badgered (no pun) Patrick into replacing my HPFP and resolving the long-crank issue. All it took was a note to BMW Customer Relations and several service appointments to upgrade software (do nothing). We'll see what happens. Anyone else had this done?

Never had an HPFP problem with mine...36k-48k, but yea the dealer "procedure" is bullshit

Kinda looking forward to not extending my warranty...not sure I want those goons tearing into this engine if there's a problem just let VS handle it

Probably want to have BMW fix it on their own dime, no? It's recall code 10E-A02. At least have them test your HPFP to determine if there's an issue. That's the first step as part of the recall. BTW, I only have 10k on 2009 335i.

They acted like it was an isolated, unknown issue until I presented them with the letter.
