come on, Joe. This forum is for people who want to fully mod their cars, not to actually drive them! Seriously though, I probably won't make it back to MSR until the Fall. Have fun out there

I know great isn't it! Its going to be sparsely attended= more track time for me!!! Plus, it doesn't take time away from the family.
Your car's too pretty for the track anyway. There are marbles and rocks and things like that out there.

With temperatures in the upper 90s, I've been logging with the AP this weekend. Now I'm seeing sustained boost levels over 16 psi and throttle closure spikes at over 20 psi. Sure enough, I heard the fatal "POP!" this afternoon on 121 while tipping the throttle in over 70%. Fortunately it was the upper charge pipe joint between the ETS elbow and the stock charge pipe. Five minute fix once it cools down.
The good news is that the stock charge pipe and diverter valves are working like champs, even at these high boost levels. I've got a set of Forge DVs waiting in the garage just in case. Even better news is the 5" ETS intercooler works like a champ, boasting a charge temp delta of +20 degrees in the city and +10 or less on the highway with light load. Regarding IAT, I'm really impressed with the stock airbox but understand I'm probably leaving some power on the table, so I just got an AFE Stage 2 (sealed) airbox system that will go in just after the first maintenance interval is completed. |

That happened to me when I first installed my Cobb. I haven't been logging, but would be interested to see what kind of PSI i'd be running with FBO minus exhaust.

Nice vid, the 3.1 looks fun. How were the oil temps with it being hot yesterday?
