Changed Valve cover gasket on my 330i and replaced water pump/thermostat on my 135i this past two weekends!

Alternator / DISA valves for 330i and Valve cover gasket / OFHG/OCG for 135i are my next maintenance plans while were having this COVID pandemic.

Maybe is the angle but the brake caliper is too far out relative to the rotor and possibly the pads are hanging. Post another photo of how the pads sit on the rotor edge.

As for the BOV, I can't help you there. I run OEM blow valves, which you can do up until around 20-22psi.
Ok thanks!

Did you need a new caliper bracket?

I've seen used sets for all 4 wheels for under $500.00
Nope, they bolted right up with no modifications.

Calipers and rotors were from a M235.

I realized the first pic was when I had the calipers mounts with stock rotors whoops.

Here's the actual pic with the M235 rotors

Just purchased a e93 335i from 2007 and first thing I did today was changing the engine oil and filter and installing DCI

Looking good, and I am looking forward to hear and feel it the car feels any different

I can do it in an hour and a half if I rush, but I have a really organized pressure washer set up and process. It usually takes me 3 hours because I enjoy doing it. Haha

Yea some times it takes longer to just set up the pressure washer then it's worth. When I do its probably about an hour or so to do if I take my time. When I started in the car business 13 years ago I started in the detail department so it's kinda second nature to me to wash cars quickly. First Saturday I worked they sold 39 cars that day and it was rush rush rush!!!

It kinda looks like your socket wasn't seated all the way in. Try tapping it in with a hammer and try again.

I highly advise against trying to get the belt back on with a stripped tensioner like that. IF you manage to get the belt back on without the torx snapping out again you'll still encounter the same problem the next time you need to remove the belt. At that point, you risk having to cut the belt.

Get a new tensioner now - they are $60 from FCP Euro and take a grand total of two minutes to remove the old and install the new.

I’ve done a lot in the past few days and it’s added up so here are a lot of pics!

I added the factory oil cooler with new gaskets.
New aluminum coolant fitting that bolts to the head.

While the manifold was off, I decided to clean the valves using carb clean and valve cleaner. This makes a mess and I recommend walnut blasting for a cleaner and better job and it costs about the same in material!

Added a T fitting on the vacuum line at the TB for PCV delete.

Zip tied the junction box that is attached to the manifold to the fuel rail.

Also may have found what injector may be causing me some issues! This index 1 injector.

Today I’ll probably enter hell and most likely remove the whole front end to swap in this oil cooler bracket.
