Everyone thought I was a little insane to drop the transmission to do the shifter bushings (pins were seized)

Apparently my clutch needed to be done...

Put new plugs and coils in. Found the source of a boost leak and sound I had been hearing was from the intercooler elbow being pushed against against the power steering pulley and belt, courtesy of the shop that fixed my car when a rock went through the front bumper.

Nothing yet, although looking at trying to run some cabling for my sound install.
Issue is we are in lockdown in SA and I cannot purchase any tools and I do not have a large torx set, only a time one for laptops and such.

I knew the DMF is known to sling grease everywhere once they let go, but holy hell I didn't realize there was that much in there.

I think it's tried to make itself a lwfw lol

Is that worth it on stock turbo running port meth in the future?

Installed Index 12 injectors and new coil packs today.

FINALLY put the N54 back together.
After new 3.5mm vacuum lines
Valve cleaning
Bigger bov line
Dual Catch can set up with external PCV
Oil cooler retrofit.

I thought I’d feel a major difference with the external PCV and clean valves.
WHAT A JIP! Power delivery felt a tinyyyyy bit smoother at wot but not night and day as others online have stated.

On stock turbos, outlets will give you minimal gains. However, it will set you up nicely when you purchase stage 1 or 2 turbos in the future. In addition, you are probably prolonging the life of the OEM turbos by making the system more efficient by allowing more air to travel from the turbos to the FMIC. The turbos do not have to work as hard.

By adding inlets, you are forcing considerably more air in the turbos, but they can not push the hot air out as fast! By adding 2" outlets, you allow the turbos to push the hot air out at about the same rate you are pushing in the cold air.

I had a deer run into the side of my car this morning. I was able to come to a complete stop, but the deer decided it was going to keep running and it hit the front drivers side fender. I was able to pop the dent out, but you can see a slight ripple in the fender..... I think i'm just going to call it a day!

That is very true. My ultimate goes is to go with a single turbo, but I figured for $400 might as well get downpipes and inlets for now while I allocate everything for a big single and do all my PM. Considering I'm trying to buy a home and get married soon, the car might be like this for at least a year or two until I pull the trigger on a single turbo set up.

You sure you want to get a single? You start going over 600hp, especially 700hp then you start burning through internals.

Installed my diy stage 2 LPFP yesterday, only drove it about 6 miles but pressures were nice. It's a much nicer day today so after work I'll take it on a longer drive and run some logs to really see the difference.

Today my carbon fiber door handles are finally arriving so I'll be installing those !

And tomorrow I'll be ordering the M-tech front lip for my E92 .

As long as I keep torque down, I think I'll be okay for a while. It's not my daily, just my occasional car. With the power delivery of a single and the progressive torque compared to the almost instant torque of a twin setup, it might prove to be more durable than say going with pure or RB twins.

But time will tell of course.

probably gonna need 20-25mm in the back.

Stud and lug kit came today but they didn't send thread locker so I'll have to venture out at some point. Also have 15mm spacers for the rear and 12mm spacers for the front.

So I put them on and : now I have to put coils on it makes the car look like it's 10x higher. I have put coils on every car I have ever owned and told my self this one didn't need it now here I am looking at my car that needs coils
