What in great Scott type of bov is that ?? Looks a little too sophisticated to be a bov .... It must be able to bov and correct gremlins in the engine bay at the same time right ?

Dude! Told you it was the BOV!!
I would have gone with a Turbosmart Raceport though... Adjustability isn't required with it. |

Nope all gone mate
With the inlet connectors properly tightened, larger ref vac line and the BOV adjusted to be just closed at idle its working perfectly ![]() Lines up with this from VTT on the fluttering sound with aftermarket turbos and VTT inlets Direct from Tony @ VTT "Your new noise is most likely due to a leak at the rear inlet, and the fact that the spring the tial comes with is always too tight so you never get a full vent. Meaning when you lift you are getting some air back out the compressor inlets, this escapes through the leak causing the whistling noise. To fully test this. Just remove the vacuum line from you tial bov, and plug it. Now drive the car. If the sound stays the same or is louder then you know its a leak, and not the BOV. The best way to fix this is to make sure the rear inlet is on properly, and put the black spring in the BOV, then use washers to shim until it is JUST closed at idle (you can find diy's on shimming tial BOV's if you google it). This will fix the noise, and give you the full vent you need to keep boost up during shifts etc" |

adjustment is over rated on a BOV, it's not required since the max you'd boost to on a hybrid turbo is 28psi.

I've got the tial bov and having stage 2 hexon rr600's installed. I reckon I'll have similar issues. Best fix is a new adjustable bov?

Not sure if you will have the same issue but your BOV will need adjusting for the new set up mate. Shim the BOV or new spring maybe

Looks much better, I'll send you those matts this week.
How often do you wash the car out of interest? I've never seen it dirty before. |

I think getting some black door pulls would make the door cards match your colour scheme
