I have to say, I'm not into the bondage. Never had to tie someone up to get what I wanted.....and if someone has to tie me up to get what they want, it obviously isn't what I want.....and they better hope like hell they aren't around when I get free. 3 Days has seemed like an eternity.
Not the same. She's much better at it than I am. |

[/QUOTE] So ironic but I also have never been into bondage of any sort but just the other evening the wife was in a rare mood and wanted to " experiment " soooo of course try we did. Grabbed a few neckties that hasn't been worn in God knows how long and taadaaa " bondage " was the theme for the evening!! She enjoyed it a lot more than I thought she would and not for nothing so did I!!!! Apologies to everyone in advance if this was TMI |

Who is Joan Rivers?
I kid, I kid. No worries doc. The streak is over. T'was a long 3 days. The universe is at peace again. Not a chance in hell. From a business mindset, there is no favorable outcome to marriage. "Here, allow me to give you half of my assets because you or I no longer want to be together. Also, let's involve legal counsel, the state and insert whatever religious classification you fall under here. All in the name of having some company." No thanks. Been there twice. I'd rather walk off a cliff. Getting married is like building a skyscraper in a swamp; it's a lot of work, it may look great, but you're building your permanent future on a foundation that is anything but solid. Want validation? Go ask any woman what she wants to eat. Hell, go ask her what color the sky is. I guarantee you her initial response will be anything other than the color blue.....and I'm expected to spend the rest of my life with someone who will eventually resent me? Nah, I've already got two kids who do a great job of that. Not to mention 3 days is bad streak for me......yeah....F marriage. |

Consider yourself lucky. My divorce dragged on for two years. He took me to the cleaners. The court officers let out audible gasps when the terms were read. It will get better. Hang in there. Good luck.

Thanks had prenup that was not challenged and only paying equity in the house which was disputed by me because if spike in value at wrong time. Negotiated a deal and got a great rate on refinance so went okay.

Neither of us had anything when we got married back in the mid 80s so no prenup. Fast forward, he was awarded lifetime alimony, the house and everything in it, half my 401k. I made a deal and paid him upfront so he didn’t have his hand in my pocket for the rest of our lives. It baffles me how vengeful someone can get.

The judge at my hearing asked me if I was absolutely sure I was willing to agree to the terms. She highly recommended I go get a lawyer. I just wanted it to be over. I do regret agreeing to one stipulation, but otherwise I was ok with the settlement. Sometimes you just want peace and an end to any need to communicate with the ex.
