Nope, was a sedan. Also this car was obviously not on a tune, as when I floored it I passed him and he couldn't catch up.

Hey,

Does anybody know where I can get my wheels powder coated in Alberta? I've got the 193m wasn't sure what do powder coat them with. Any suggestions? Anthracite? Gun metal? Also what would it cost me?

I believe Calgary coachworks does it. Not sure on pricing. There's a place out here that I had powder coat a barrel for my rifle, not sure if they would do rims. I can ask.

If you don't mind asking on pricing that would be great. I don't want to buy new rims and seems the 193m powder coated and love it. Gives the car a new look. Thanks!

There's a guy on the Genesis Coupe forum that I used to moderate on that works for Distinct Autowerks, his name is Tony. He's offering powdercoating for wheels for $220 for standard colours and $280 for custom colours. I can't really comment on quality of work but, it's another option for you.

Yes that would be great. Is it 220 for all 4 or per rim?? Has he done for a long time? Also is he in Calgary aswell? I'm tempted to buy new rims but can't afford a 2k investment. So powder coating my 193m in anthracite would be a good hold over.

PM sent. Truthfully, I don't actually know, it wasn't completely clear on the other forum, but I'm guessing that it's for all 4 rims. As far as how long he's been doing this, I couldn't tell you, but he is in Calgary. I ran into him once in the SW, I believe he lives in the SW too.

Calgary Powder Coating. I've had a few sets of wheels done by them and they always seem to do a good job. If my memory serves me correctly, it's about $320 for a set of 4. You also need to factor in the cost to remove/remount the tires as the powdercoater will not do this.

come summer time if people want to get together/work on cars via a lift and such i can offer a facility to do it. i have a shop and we could all do the intake valve cleaning and whatever else

I have most of that stuff already.
