Newbie

Hi,
Just picked up my 4th new BMW (Luck lad). This time a E90 320i E Sport Business - Got the business edition as it was only a grand extra, and included leather. Well I was going to have leather anyway, and it was a £1,025 option, so it really was a no brainer to go for the Business one and get SatNav thrown in.

When I order it the dearler was having a promotion, 5 yrs servicing FOC, so I got that, then BMW gave me £1000 towards the options I ordered, so that was the Business edition paid for. So, been quite lucky really.

Anyway, got it with a sun roof, auto box, and lumbar support. Those sports seats killed my back in my e45. Still cost me an arm and a leg though, but you can't take it with you, so I might as well blow it on something I really want, wish I could have got more, but money is the decider, if you want new.

Took just over a month from order to delivery. Last one was on order for three months, just shows how things have changed.

Anyway, keep up the good work.

Snowy

Wink Newbie saying hello and deciding on E90

Hi All,

My name is Urfan, Im from Harrow/Middlesex and Im in the process of selling my 3.0i X5 and looking to get a 320D E90...

I have just been to see an SE and have yet to see an ES but wanted some clarification on what is standard and what isnt with the 2?

One of the things I noticed is the SE had a mfsw with a phone button (like I have on my X5) but I could not figure out how to pair a phone with the car and the seller had no clue either!!

Can you point me towards what I should look for, what to avoid etc and what I can expect with a budget of 8-8.5k here in the UK

I am a member of an X5 forum which I found to be VERY usefull in the last year and hopefully my experience with this forum will be the same

Thanks

Urfan

Hi everyone. Inherited an E91 329d ES as a company car yesterday. It's in need of a service, has various scratches and gouges, a scraped bumper and matching kerbed alloy, and the tonneau cover is missing from the boot.

But what a car! Would have gone for SE trim personally but its still a nice thing to sit in. Loving the rocket ship engine too ( a full 1.7 seconds faster to 60 than anything else I've had) and I know its slow compared to you lucky peeps in 335d's. Some cheap shiny plastic up front though - is this just an ES thing? And anyone know if I can fit a sunglasses holder in the roof where the suspicious looking blank panel is next to the lights?

First ever BMW. Doubt it'll be my last....

Hi everyone, put a deposit on an e92 335d on a 57 plate last weekend, currently waiting for the dvla documents to come back for a cherished transfer though. I have been looking at this forum for a few days now, reading the experiences and problems and thought I should sign up and contribute in the future.

This week I have just taken delivery of my e91 2010 325d m sport, its alpine white with leather, heated seats, auto, nav, sun protection glass and a few other bits and bobs. It was a used car from BMW uk 6000 miles. I had a tuning box ready from DTUK and this is fantastic! it gets the best out of the 3.0 turbo engine and is also now averaging 48mpg

Hi Everyone

HI,

Just thought i'd pop in and say hello.

Just picked up a (59) 2009 E90 318d Msport Business Edition yesterday.

Couple of questions tho if i can.

1. The chap that owned the car before me replaced the car with aftermarket wheels, will this cause me a problem with the tyre monitor??

2. Can i get a jack/spare wheel to fit into the well at the back? or is there something else i would need.?

3. Does anyone know if you can change the volume inside the car when the phone rings, as it's quite a high pitch.??

I have managed to get this car at a great deal, as it has the professional nav, heated seats, voice control and i belive extra storage.

cheers

mat
