Good luck with your car Ian - that sucks what happened to you.
It sounds like you've got things under control now though. Hella - your car looks fantastic. I'm so impressed with how you guys know what you're doing working on your cars - I got screwed trying to mod my E46 a few times over the last 2 years. I paid a bunch of cash only to have two local body shops mess my car up pretty good because they couldn't put side skirts and an M3 front bumper on my '04 325. Luckily I was still able to trade it in for my E92 last weekend. BTY - if you like horror movies, go see "Insideous". I saw it last night, it's well worth it. Real intense and real scary - I loved it. JLee83 Hope to see you guys on the 29th down at the Waterfront. |

Ian seems like a nice drop. I drove a (e39) 540 this weekend with PSS9's and was amazed how "planted" the car felt with no roll. Then drove a 335 with PSS10's and e36 m3 with Koni FSD's
Got back from NY yesterday and my car felt like a damn buick, we (e92's) really got the short end of the stick on our stock sports suspensions and i feel cheated... Conclusion upgrade your suspensions its a completely different car |

I'm going to throw my car on the dyno before installing the meth kit to get a baseline. Interested in how much it actually improves. If anyone is interested in dynoing too let me know!
In talking to Domination Chasis, who installed my coilovers, there's 3 or 4 dyno's in Pittsburgh we could go to. |

The install for the coils was a bit pricey - around $480. I really didn't shop around and didn't want to wait. Domination Chasis was recommended from bimmerforums and had a good reputation so I went with them. I called on Friday, and they got me in Saturday morning.
They let me watch everything too, which is a huge plus in my book. |
