Thanks Mark! It's a bit of both I assure you. The A9 (and the RX10) has some magic in the AF tracking that is for sure. I get twice as many keepers versus my older gear. Kind of sad as I kind of prefer the look of a lot of my Canon files, but they just haven't kept up.

I just used the auto-fix function when I viewed the photo on the Chromebook I took with me on vacation. That's usually enough to give the picture a little more contrast and pop.
Occasionally I'll use the adjust brightness/contrast function in PSE, but that's not usually necessary. Here is the picture as it came from the camera. Jasper IR 5 (before) by Tom Spann, on Flickr
