What's the synopsis?
Basically, Rosamund Pike scams her way into being the legal guardian of select elderly folks. She puts them up in care homes and sells of their personal property to finance her operation/business. I won't give away the plot or post spoilers but she ends up picking a mark with baggage and a game of cat and mouse ensues.

Wifey and I just finished watching it. She lasted the whole movie but I didn't. Decent acting but horrible writing IMHO.
Thanks for that. I may watch it Sunday.
You're welcome. Pike's character annoyed me early in so it could have set a bias for me early on. It was really because of her character bilking the elderly out of everything they. So take my overall opinion with a grain of salt. After all, I am a person who enjoyed Tucker and Dale vs Evil.

Great movie.

Another good movie that's written and directed by Martin McDonagh is In Bruges. Ralph Fiennes is pretty funny. He reminds me of Ben Kingsley's character in Sexy Beast.

I watched it. It was pretty good. I hated her character's behavior, so the writer's mission was accomplished. Lol!

I would bone too.

I rewatched "bowfinger" last night. Steve Martin comedy. I forgot how hilarious Steve Martin and Eddie Murphy were in this film. Absolutely hilarious!

I like the Mike Myers - Austin Powers movies.

Speaking of Steve Martin, one of my faves is "Dirty Rotten Scoundrels". What a great movie that was with Michael Caine. The way they continued to con each other throughout was hilarious.

The scene with Dr. Schaffhausen(Caine) treating the wheelchair stricken Freddy Benson(Martin) was one of the best.

I watched the Highwaymen the other day. I like historical movies like this and Crusty Costner and Woody Harrelson work well together.

Have any of you ever seen Cadence? I have not watched that one in a long time but I enjoyed it quite a bit. Charlie & Martin Sheen, Lawrence Fishburn were the big names. Its an old flick...1990

Watched Quo Vadis, Aida? last night. As a war refugee from Bosnian it really hit home. Good money if you don’t know much about the war and in particular Srebrenica

Both exceptionally good movies. I liked the nose jokes in Roxanne. I especially like Planes, Trains & Automobiles, though. John Candy was a great physical comic.

Another John Candy movie I really like is Uncle Buck, also by written and directed John hughes. I liked Macaulay Culkin's part, and Laurie Metcalf is hilarious.

A movie that reminds me of Planes, Trains & Automobiles is Due Date. It is a riot! There's a scene where Zach Galifianakis' French bulldog, Sunny, rubs one out. Never seen a dog do that. lol
