I stopped collecting color info a couple of years ago. I don't think a 5 seater X7 makes sense from the marketing point of view - get the XM instead when it becomes available early next year. iDrive8 is a given for all models introduced in 2018 or later.
If at all possible could you check if Brooklyn Gray is to be added to G05? Maybe you can find about the X7 LCI if it will be available as it is closer to production? Thanks a lot. Apologies, but I am was thinking for a while whether to ask you or not

If the factory will be starting the '23's in July I would try to work it out with my dealer to scrap my '22 order and make it a '23. (I'm willing to pay an inevitable price increase)
End of June will mean the last of MY22 cars. Bad choice. Talk to your dealer NOW.
When is the g87 going into prod? I'm selling my g80 and need confirmation of my g87 first.

Initial post says production begins by end of this year.

Been busy with my business, hadn't had a chance to deal with this. However, got a call from
my dealer today, my order has been canceled and will be reordered as a MY23 when the ordering guide is released. And yes, they will be a price increase. What a crazy time in which we live!

Question: do you know if the 2023 G87 M2 will offer a non leather option for the interior like the 2022 M240i, Sensatec in Canberra, Cognac or Black?

Thanks!

I'd say not likely given the F87 had leather standard.

This I am also very interested in, as I placed an order in March with a dealer, who moves quite a bit of M cars, and was certain to obtain an allocation as he had just gotten 2 in march earlier that were filled already. Traded in my G01 M40i (have an extra vehicle to drive) to secure the financing rate, and the "deal" with tax savings etc...

But with still no allocation and no production date, I would like to see IF/WHAT changes the 2023 MY will have over the 2022 G42

They did a great job with the new 7 Series interior. The exterior will take some getting used to.

Can you please clarify what the "New instrument panel for all models" specifically refers to for the G42? Is this just a cosmetic enhancement retaining the current iDrive7 from model year 22, or is it the upgrade to iDrive8?

It's a combination of philosophical choice and a preference for cloth interiors. There is a starting trend towards premium, sustainable, non-animal based interiors and I was wondering if the G87 might apply what we see in the likes of Tesla and Porsche in some models. I'd pay a premium for the option personally.

BMW does have a new sustainable synthetic leather replacement "sensafin" debuting on the x7 lci and new 7 (allegedly as good or better than the vernasca it will replace). Eventually should find it's way down the chain but doubtful to the m2 in the near future.

Hi Folks! I’m looking to order a X5, my local dealer who’ve I’ve order from in the past just told me to wait on a 2023 model year allocation because he’s expecting an announcement on the X5 LCI for the 2023 model year. He mentioned the 2022 model year production ends in July, and mentioned that the next run would include iDrive8, front / rear design tweaks etc. This forum says the LCI isn’t planned until next year. Curious if anyone has any more insider info?
