I expanded my new ssd partitions and then loaded 20Gb of music onto it.

I made it to the P's.

I received the 335xi e90 that I bought on the 20th of July yesterday. It took a week to get it shipped. I just got off the phone with the DMV. I can't get in to register it until Aug. 11 ! That's the earliest appointment I could get... damned Cover-19. I guess I'll give it a thorough cleaning inside and out today.

it's painfully slow to load music from the USB.

It choked on the david bowie collection.

I guess it doesn't like importing 4GB in a single go.

It's still 10 times better than anything the ccc could have ever hoped to be.

The onboard music is kind of redundant since there's a lifetime sub sirius receiver in the trunk, but sometimes I like to listen to things that aren't on the radio.

Haven't gotten all my parts from latvia for the connectors.

eventually.

the existing tcu/mulf works still, so it's not a super high priority, as long as my bluetooth phone works.

also, why are all of the cheapest cables and connectors from latvia?

I have been battling a cylinder 5 misfire, new plugs, new coils and new injector a couple of weeks ago. Misfire still present. I was starting to think my o2 sensor on bank 2. Had my Downpipes installed, bumped up the tune to stage 2 fmic aggressive and same misfire, ordered a new bank 2 o2 sensor yesterday for pick up today. On the way to pick up the sensor engine throws misfire cylinder 5 AND Finally, lambda sensor bank 2 upstream bad! Wooohoooo! Swapped the sensor out and and on the test drive no fault codes and tires breaking loose in 3 gears! I need to order the bank 2 sensor now just in case. Oh and o2 sensor swap is a pita!

Put some copper or nickel based anti-seize on the threads. I know they come with anti-seize already, but I doubt they use a higher quality anti-seize.

I ordered direct from Bosch so it came with a pretty thick layer of silver anti seize on it already. I will make sure the number 1 bank is coated as well before install.

Swapped out the M3 badged door sills that came on my car when I bought it. M3 badging on regular 3ers is a huge pet peeve of mine

Can you provide a part number? Also, what happens when it's fully extend, is it a soft stop?

The website is https://emeraldstruts.com

They naturally come to a soft stop as the maximum extension of the strut is reached.

Very cool! They're all sold out for the E90 but I'll totally pick one up later. That's an awesome quality-of-life improvement.

That's what I thought when I first saw them! They sell out quite quickly, but keep checking and they'll be back in stock soon. International posting too

Sweet. I've always wanted auto open but have feared going DIY with springs would damage my stock struts. How much were they?

They were £54.95 for the E90, plus postage. I did find a discount code too: "MLITES". Got another 10% off.

Was hoping that I had an o2 issue so I could finally solve my misfire problem and all the voltages checked out fine

There was a guy that did a homemade version of this with his own spring but it supposedly tended to blow out the struts over time and kept them too loaded when closed. Wonder what the expectancy for those is, I'm sure it's been engineered better.

Eastern European auto wrecker special with a light coat of dye. Terra is impossible to find.

And.. a little late to the start button party, it got lost in China...

Edit: Added finished color match test
