The new LED bulbs were a total plug ‘n play and have had no codes thrown. A lot of ppl take the front wheels off to get to the bulb. I simply just jacked up the car enough to take the full weight off the front wheel (one side at a time). Here’s the Amazon link for the bulbs I used. So far I’m very happy, and look forward to night time drives: SUPAREE D1S D1R LED Headlight Bulbs, 6000K White 70W 12000LM Bright LED Conversion Kits, High Low Beam Plug and Play to Original HID Ballat, Pack of 2 https://a.co/d/2M5QaYt

Let me know how the clearance towards the fuse box is. Bought one from Rolls performance and although it was meant for the 340 is touches the fuse box. I am not happy

will do, it was one of my concerns as well... i reached out to ECS prior to buying it and they told me one of their sales guys has it on his b58, with no issues. but im taking it with a grain of salt until I actually test fit it myself!

Are you saying that ECS and Wichers are the same? Or did I misunderstand?

i only went with the ECS one because it was $200 off for black friday. not because it’s different in any way to the weichers one that’s been out for a while now. it seems for carbon fiber bars the only other option is the F80 retrofit oem bar.

Finished up repairing the damage from running over a tire the other week.
The other day I had replaced the undertray and one of the side under trays in front of the wheel, along with the plastic grill part behind the lower bumper and the black gloss trim piece on the lower lip. During that I discovered 2 things: getting to the radiator support (plastic) was harder than I thought, and that also the lower air duct was destroyed and needed to be replaced. So tonight I took the bumper off again (really smart design by BMW I must say, the way those long screws pull the bumper into tight alignment on the sides makes it so easy to put everything back together) and took over the lower crash bar(or whatever that metal piece is called at the bottom) and the upper radiator guard where the hood clips mount. Took off the v brace and upper duct and got to the lower, where I finally managed to remove the radiator support on the passenger side and replace it. I had been so careful so I wouldn’t have to drain or disconnect any hoses, but when I went to unscrew the fan shroud on the passenger side, I lightly tapped the plastic coolant hose that went to the expansion tank and it crumbled right off. So everything from the original incident is all fixed, but now the car is out of commission until I can get a new hose, hopefully the dealer has one in stock! It was on my list to replace soon anyways, so not the worst thing in the world. I was hoping to wait until it was time for the water pump or thermostat (I’m at 75k now), when I would also replace the Mickey Mouse flange with an aluminum one and a few other hoses. Didn’t loose very much coolant so I’ll hold off on the flange until I need to drain the system. ATF fluid change is next on my list, with new front brake rotors and pads the month after that. Still no regrets though! |

Today I played with bimmercode.:fajny!:
I turned off the side marker lights because they can't shine in Poland. I did something wrong with AUTO START STOP, I want to turn it off completely, how can I turn it off? |

Bimmercode gives you the option to keep or remember the latest AUTO START OFF setting. It will remember the last setting after you have switched off the car - it's technically not coded off but it does what you want :-)
