It only takes a minute or two. I wouldn't be scared of it I don't even think it resets adaptations. Only benefits to be had from it as the transmission shifts faster and smoother

Just 2 LED bulbs (or however many you want) and some simple wiring. The hardest part is just removing interior pieces. But once it's removed you can drill and place the bulbs and just run the wiring. I crimped mine into the harness for the 12v socket lighter in the center console. So the lights turn on when the car is on, just like the rest of the ambient lighting |

Can I rely on you to help me with any issues that I'm sure are going to come up? I'm not much of a tech guy but I'm not an idiot. I've been called an idiot on occasion but I blame them... it couldn't be me. LOL As an aside, the cars seems to be working very well except for the valve cover gasket leaking onto the downpipes which is a requirement of owning an N54, it seems. LOL There's no check engine or other lights on the dash.Well the tire pressure warning was on but after adjusting the air pressures ( four different pressures ranging from 20 to 38psi !) and resetting it has been fine. Your information has been very helpful. |

So after several weeks of work including a complete interior change from light grey leather to dark grey cloth my E91 got a wee Italian tune up on the local roads. Sadly this did not fix the sticking tappet, tomorrow we buy oil additive. Handles better than expected but I hate the run flats. Everyone comments on how nice the wood trim is :-)

I would do this: Run the HP factory restore on that machine. Start with a fresh windows 7. tell it you want it to erase all the data. Make sure you've backed up anything you want to save. connect it to the internet and let it download all the windows updates. amazingly win 7 update servers still work. download all the standard tools/ista stuff. Follow the readme to the letter and install it. When you get stuck, pm me and I'll teamviewer into it and fix the small issue in ten minutes, then you can disconnect it from the wireless and never connect it to the internets again. also recommend downloading and installing the cutepdf writer. so you can print things out of the software into a file and then sneakernet that to your macbook if you need to share things with the class. https://www.teamviewer.com/en-us/download/windows/ https://www.cutepdf.com/Products/CutePDF/writer.asp |

My car is a 2006 335i with 91000 miles on it, I have had it 6 months.
Because of a recent miss fire on WOT passing through 3-4000 revs I replaced the plugs and coils which helped a lot (happens about 1 in 10 times since) but since it still happens on odd occasions today I cleaned my inlet valves, they defiantly needed cleaning I am surprised number 4 had any air flow at all!!! Instead of spending out on walnut blasting I went for the manual cleaning using pick tools and MANNOL 9873 Intake Valve Cleaner. I picked off as much carbon as I could and used compressed air to blow out the debris, then I sprayed on the Mannol and used a brass brush to take off what was left and soaked out the gunky fluid with paper towels and one last jet of air then a wipe down. It worked a treat and now the car idles better and picks up much smoother and has more power, fuel economy is still to be seen, but so far was well worth the time spent (5 hours) to do it. While I was at it I replaced all the vacuum pipes on the right hand side of the engine with good quality silicone pipe, I plan to do the other side at a later date |

This came in the mail today. A fellow member here builds these custom gauges to your request and I can't say enough how good a job he did putting it together. Now has the 200 mph speedo, updated the oil temp to the 300 instead of the 340, variable rpm redline like my e46 M3 had and I can actually read the 335is now at night time. In stock form the badge is not back lit and you can't read it. Still looks oem, just upgraded oem.

Put mpars on the car today
Fitment is perfect aside from the front tires rubbing fender liners at full lock

Cleaned wheels and tires because well that's what you do when a tropical storm is coming :^)
What leather cleaner do you all use? I only have conditioner and my seats are already in dear need of a clean. |

Go somewhere horsey and get saddle soap to clean and Neatsfoot oil to condition. Not expensive and works really well. Horsey folk know how to look after leather.

I think they're too big even if they're blacked out so I kept mine deleted and opted for custom gauge faces

Since I haven't had much time to mess around with my E91 yet, I decided it was time for the first mod! PE modded custom 335i quad tip exhaust setup! This was BlueM3Wagon setup before he started his M3 swap. Just the beginning for this project. Thank you to mad1stgen for the install. I must say if anyone in the Midwest is looking for any E9X work, mad1stgen is the person to go to hands down! Especially anything wagon related.

It sounds so nice! Just enough growl at 4k RPM and up. Smooth for cruising, no drone, and sounds sick on cold start. Fits the E91 nicely 👍🏼

Slathered all the leather in my car with Leatherique. I won't be driving for the next 24 hours and it's mad hot out. Looking forward to tomorrow's results!
